this is what mosley did in his last fight.

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsyjxR_1DWQ&feature=related[/ame]

come on man, he destroyed the indestructable beast that was margo.

yes margo had used loaded gloves in previous fights, but damn man. no one saw this coming.

and who out there would favour any WW outside of pbf/pac to defeat sugar shane?

well, I'm not taking anything away from PBF's win, but if Paul Williams stil makes 147 he beats Shane.

That's more of an insult to the division than a compliment to Shane.

There is Manny/Floyd and a bunch of now B-C level fighters at 147.

I was not fooled by Shane's win over Margarito due to the fact that Margarito got caught trying to cheat. Once they removed the plaster from the wraps, I think even Reggie Strickland could have beat Margarito. What surprised me in that fight were the amount of clean shots Margarito was able to withstand before the fight was stopped.

Another thing that impressed me about Floyd was he did not run from Shane when I thought he most likely would.

I still picked Floyd to beat Mosley by wide UD and I was right about that.

You really think Clottey is an A level fighter? He was scared to throw against Manny. And didn't throw in the championship rounds vs Cotto which is why he lost that fight.

You think Berto is an A level figher? I watched him get rocked by Collazo in the 1st. Some people on here think he'll never become an A level fighter.

you shouldnt base your own opinions on what others think.

clottey arguably beat cotto. ye he did **** against pac, but so does everyone!

as for berto, he has now beaten rivera, collazo, urango, quintana. not bad for a shite boxer eh?

i really feel that sugar shane can KO berto very easily, could outbox and possibly stop williams if he goes all out and lets his hands go and attacks hard as williams is so easy to hit, theres so much there to hit!.lol.

martinez vs mosley seems like a good fight,i think either man can win,i still like shanes speed and power agaisnt someone who has his hands low and walks back, although martinez does box nicely and has quick foot work and fast punching ability

Clottey and Berto are not "A" level fighters. They are servicable and talented, however, they certainly are not of the same standard as Pac, Money, Sugar, and even to a lesser degree Cotto.

I do agree that Margo was made for Shane ...

and how good was the Margo that was even in the ring that night?

Mentally.. He just knew that he got caught cheating , he was probably thinking of the consequences of those actions rather than the consequences of Shane's Right hand.

People tend to forget that Shane looked terrible against Mayorga and even lost to Cotto a couple years ago.

Im all for giving Floyd credit for this win but if were doing it on the basis of what Mosley did 18months ago, then by contrast the same fans should give Pac credit for DLH as 16 months before that DLH took Floyd to SD. Should stop calling Hatton shot when Pac got to him as 6 months before that he destroyed Paulie Malignagi. Should stop calling Morales shot for Pac rematch as 10months before that, he beat Pac. All those 3 fighters had great victories in a shorter time frame than 18 months.

Add to that none of them were pushing 40 but that would make too much sense.

the mosley that got into the ring with marg was not the same fighter vs floyd.
mosley was out of the ring for 15 months and was rusty.he had been in full
camp for berto only for it to be pulled 2 weeks before the fight, then signed
for mayweather and went right back into full training camp.he was ovetrained
and that was why he gassed from the 3rd onwards.he was there for the taking
and floyd did'nt put him away, he just nik picks his way to a points victory.this was
not an impresive performance by the so called best fighter in history.
