Oh, I like Margo. He's a hard worker, limited natural talent, but he has gotten the most out of his talent and work ethic.

And as a welterweight he has fought pretty much all the top ones of his era. And I think you have to commend a guy for that. Besides he a winning record against the top welters too.

His use of illegal hand wraps in the Mosley fight is a strike against him, but we all sometimes make mistakes.

I didn't say it was before I clearly said he couldn't make weight for the Funeka fight. Does JMM only get one shot at Campbell? It's not JMM's fault Campbell couldn't make weight and continue making a serious crack at the true linear LW belt. Anyway hypothetically if it was JMM instead of Funeka, JMM would have no obligation to fight Campbell if he couldn't even make weight in the division.

Well I'm glad you cleared up how irrelevant the linear title is. Here I was with my outrageous idealogy about a singular title being passed from champion to champion. It doesn't matter who has the linear title, they are "the man" to beat. Braddock v Louis, Spinks v Ali. JMM moved up in weight to face the true LW champion so stop bringing up the Casamayor nonsense - you're only feeding credibility to the alphabet championship belts.

And this is true for all and every boxer: I do not hold it against Pacquiao for facing the true JWW linear champion in Hatton, even though the best fighter was Bradley.

JMM at LW has fought nobody but top 5 LWs. He's a LW. Deal with it. How many other champions have defeated so many top 5 fighters from their respective division? Pongsalek Wonjongkam? I never said nor will I suggest he is a JWW or WW. I also don't think he is a JMW, MW, or HW either. Not quite sure why you felt the need to bring that up.

Your problem goes far beyond JMM's achievements, you clearly have a deeper problem with the man himself that cannot be resolved by a rational, objective and logical discussion. May I suggest you cook up some tomato soup next time you have bad thoughts about JMM. There's plenty of delicious recipes on the internet you can download.

Then why the hell are you all thinking he'd do better at 147 VS Pac who floored him easily on the lower weights and who just KD Cotto twice, TKO'd him on the 11th, didn't even give Clottey a chance to throw anything reasonable and absorbed the solid punches of a freaking middleweight in Margarito?

Are you... ******ed or something? Seriously?
Man these JMM crybabies need to be given a "JMM defeated Pac twice" day or something to celebrate and keep their minds off from these delusional thoughts that JMM is a genuine threat at welter.

in my eyes they are 1-1. He gave pac all he could handle despite being knocked down 4 times early on in the fight he still had the balls to get off his ass and adjust.Dont get mad cause jmm wouldnt stay down.Pac could of easily taken care of jmm along time ago(as some think).jmm vs pac would be a dead issue.
