He ate before doing the weigh-in, supposedly, because he was so confident. He made the weight, though.

He got knocked down 6 times, that's 1 knock down in every 2 rounds on average. Something worth mentioning.

So he had a size/weight/reach advantage over Pac and got still dropped 6 times.
You're right, even without the KO still massively impressive perfomance by Pac.

he got robbed of a knockout. the ref called break when pac had him on the ropes and they wernt even close to being tied up, pac was just at a good punching distance ending the fight with hard punches..

Pac actually DID KO the dude.

    Round 9.

Go back and watch it, and do the count yourself.

Chris was down for 11 sec.

Drained? Algieri fought at SLW two years before he fought Pacquiao. He held the WBO title at 140. He came up in weight after fighting Ruslan to fight Pacquiao. Pacquiao then proceeded to knock down Algieri six times while Algieri put on the worst running performance ever seen.

But no draining involved. Pacquiao was on the move back down to 140, so they had him fight at 144 first to see if they should move all the way down. Obviously his power looked fantastic, so they would've moved all the way down but they got the fight with Mayweather so this is postponed. If they don't rematch then Pacquiao will for sure go back down to 140 and maybe even 135.

Outgrow? Algieri is going back to 140 for his title shot for the WBO title that he is guaranteed.

These are good points, grasshopper, but insufficient to refute the points made by The Boxed Ears.

You need to study him more carefully to become enlightened.

Try to read what he's feeling, and not just the words on the screen.

:|:|:| It was still a CATCHWEIGHT. FACT! There is 140 limit, 147 limit. Which limit was it fought at? :patsch I don't remember 144 being a division limit.

It does explain why Algieri went down multiple times vs pac but didn't seem hurt.Something to do with the water in your brain ?
