Let's remind ourselves that David Diaz is nothing special.

how can pac be a paper champ if he is an A level fighter? I agree diaz is a paper champ coz he is C level but you must be kidding if you think pac is not an A level fighter

like i said i consider diaz as a big tough lightweight fighter who had a decent record of 34-1-1 even though he is C level he is top 10-15 LW.

lol:rofl i seriously doubt it that there are people believing in him, perhaps some..but i wouldn't say all pac fans

he's known for losing his credibility and he doesn't speak for all pac fans here

who are falling for the hype? people are not seeing this fight as big as the pac-marquez rematch at 130.

paper champ title is not passed on. if someone deserving get's the title, the paper champ tag should cease. and besides we all know that campbell is the no.1 lightweight and not diaz and not even the lineal casamayor.

Who the **** is creaming their pants for Pacquiao over tomorrow's fight? The only stupidity of this is the fact that its over kill to once again **** on Pacquiao as if a 5th division isn't worth acknowledging. It is so FUNNY when forum warriors want to put all their "brain power" together in a thread simply to pick apart a F-I-G-H-T-E-R-S decision to F-I-G-H-T someone that is "outmatched". When in reality this is Pacquiao's FIRST fight at 135 FOR **** SAKE.

Would some of you feel better and have a better nights sleep if Pacquiao didn't receive a belt by beating Diaz and then later got a belt by beating Nate Cambel or some other **** at the 135lbs instead?

GO ***** SOMEWHERE ELSE :finger5, And for the record I'm not even the biggest fan of Paquiao's style, but I am a fan of his resume/career/ and the way he represents our sport, so for some of you to try and pick apart his career is ****ing pitiful.

    Fair enough.

I wouldn't have started this thread if the fight was on regular HBO or another network.

As Maestro pointed out, PacD is the one who started painting this fight in gold.

Its sad to see so many clueless people on this forum.
    FACTS:
    1. Diaz was supposed to face Soto but Arum realized that he could make more money with a Pac matchup and Diaz would be very beatable compared to Soto since he more than likely would have murdered Diaz and given Pac a hell of a fight and possibly a loss.
    2. Diaz has not defended his title for almost a year. His last fight was not even a title fight and he was fighting a bum which just goes to show that Arum was not even taking chances with this bum and wanted to keep that belt nice and safe for Pac.
    3. Why fight Diaz when Casamayor is out there and so is Campbell?? JMM just got out of a tough fight with Pac and his next fight is against a very tough fighter in Casamayor. So dont use the he needs a easy fight excuse. JMM doesnt need one so why the hell does Pac need one?
    4. JMM beat Pac 2 times already. Ha that was my opinion though. so never mind this.

If Diaz had fought Soto and beat him then hell yea this fight would seem more legit. Along with Diaz having defended his title even against that tomato can he fought last March. This all seems way too shady to not have been planned out by Arum. Even you diehard Pac fans have to agree with this....

Exactly, some people would just try to spit on any event for no reason at all. This is a good fight with a nice undercard, I don't care what people think about Diaz this is a very good first fight for Pacquiao at the weight with the WBC title on the line and Diaz has the style to make it a tough action-packed fight. It's not like Pacquiao has been fighting scrubs all his career to be criticised for this fight, if they don't like it then WWE Smackdown awaits.

he's a good fighter.. might not be great but would at least be considered a decent match up for pac
