Let's remind ourselves that David Diaz is nothing special.

Casamayor is ten times the fighter right now that Diaz will ever be.
His skills are incredible. Thats maybe why he is the ring champion. Right now he is the number 2 lightweight IMO. Possibly number 1. He has so much ring savy and underrated speed and power that its sick. I have been watching his fights lately and i see a very tough fight for JMM coming up. And i also think Casamayor would TKO Pac. He is too good at counter punching and can take a really good punch while giving one.

I guess people just don't want to see Pacquiao claim another title in another division.. Cherrypicking? No. Diaz is the WBC title holder and someone's got to take it from him.. I mean come on, can't Pacquiao take a fight against someone who isn't an elite? This hating on Pac for taking this fight and his fans for rooting for him is ****ing pathetic.. What are we suppose to say? "Diaz isn't **** so I don't care if Pac wins tonight.." Pac has been rumored to fighting Hatton, winner of Campbell/Guzman, and a rematch with JMM and he can't even take this fight without being criticized? You can call us *******s or whatever the hell ya'll like, but it's people like Maestro & 4Rounder who are making themselves look insecure.. Never once did I say Diaz was an elite fighter, but I can still root for my fighter and be excited that he can win another title in another division.. Thats what fans are suppose to do.. All this bull**** and nonsense is just out of hatred towards Pac..

But like I said, us boxing fans will be enjoying the fight while some of ya'll Pac haters will be all up in the Round by Round thread tonight..

Are you implying that I am in "PacLand"? Have I ever said I honestly really enjoyed Pacquiao's fighting style? I'm defending Pacquiao from half the dickless queers on this forum that are talking **** about a professional boxer. For ****s sake the haters on this forum make it so shitty around here sometimes.

it would be easier for paq if diaz was orthodox as it would mean paqs best punch the straight left down the pipe would land time and time again,

as it is diaz squares himself up , weight distributed badly when he launches an attack and he is wide open to get bombed with full power.

i think from distance and in close paqs much quicker hands will aloow him to get of and land on diaz.

only will get tough if diaz has the abilty to walk through them and turn it into a war.

then paq being the smaller man might tire down the stretch.

but diaz skill wise and speed wise is no threat, heart wise he looks like a fighter willing to go out on his sheild , so will put up as best a fight as he can while he is there.

i expect paq to catch the square on diaz many times flush though and put him down, perhaps 2 or 3 times leading to a ref stopped figh win around round 8.

the styles will gell and it will be a good entertaining fight while it lasts.

would not surprise me if diaz comes out to fast in the first without taking a look he gets decked quick not having warmed up into the fight.

if paq cannot trouble diaz with power then he should switch to a plan b

box from distance move in and out and use his speed of hand and foot and straight punches /right jab/straight left to beat the on rushing diaz to the punch and then move.

its paq`s fight to lose IMO and the only way he will lose is if he gets into an all out trech warfare with diaz and refuses to change tact if it does not work and the bigger man ocverwhelms him with strength and will to win.

diaz must make it a war if he is to suceed.

People are critizicing because he is the weakest champion in the division and he is mexican, yes pac will beat another mexican, but i don't think he can ko Diaz for me a UD win for Pac.

I remember last year, pac got criticized for being the #2 P4P without holding a title belt in 2 years.

I'm going on record saying that Pac loses this fight.

    Something in the air tonight.

I'll take my blows if wrong, but I'm feeling a Diaz upset. Remember this is the guy who TKO'd Santa Cruz, who got robbed against Casa. Diaz is better than some of you make him.

I got the uppercut part wrong (I though Pacquiao would come for underneath a bit more), but got the punch and circumstances right.
