what would have happened if berto faught mosley instead of mayweather fighting mosley.
    who would have won???
mosleys last three fights have been sub par and seemed to get old over night.
would this have been the case against berto???
if so is this really a good win for floyd or manny???

He had enough left in the tank to ko a green glass chined Berto. Mayweather finished him though, those vicious counters Mosley took in that fight, had Mosley afraid to pull the trigger in those 2 fights he had afterwards.

mosley would have probably beaten berto. really doesn't matter though as he then would have lost convincingly to either pac or mayweather and be called suddenly old and shot just the same.

the boxing climate today sucks with all the fickle fans, fighters being only as good as their last fight. like ortiz, if pac-mayweather fought him a few months ago they would have been taking an easy fight. hell berto copped **** for fighting him. ortiz upsets berto and he's the toughest and most credible opponent there's ever been for both pac and may. joke

I think Berto would have won comfortably and it would be him getting the pay day against Mayweather

At the time I thought Berto would stand in front of Mosley, get drawn into a fight, and KO'd. Obviously now it's hard to be sure, but I still think Mosley had enough in the tank to dispose of Berto.

Honeslty, I have to say Berto, but back then I would have assumed Mosley and been proven wrong. The reason I am saying this, in both of Bertos losses and he does have another loss to Collazo, it took two guys with a high work rate to beat him.
The ortiz fight, Well Victor had to come up off the deck twice to get that win, Mosley doesnt have that kind of fire in him anymore, so to be honest I think the world would have expected Mosley to win, But I think Berto would have pulled it off, as Shane has shown an inability to pull the trigger.
