BJS will be the 1st man to out jab GGG IMO. I think GGG can win if his gas tank is upto it, he seems to be ageing rapidly in this department though, he has been out of gas in the championship rounds last few fights.

I think at this stage of his career Saunders does a job on him tbh, he's a very tricky and tough guy. I think GGG will struggle with his speed both foot and hand. Cant see him walking him down either with his new found stamina issues.

3 years ago it would have been GGG easy, not today though and I think GGG will be content to wait for Canelo as the risk of defeat is too big.

GGG would be better off staying active IMO 8 months is a fairly long lay off.

I hope he does fight BJS.

I had always felt that in theory BJS had a chance, but he was pretty awful in his last fight vs Monroe Jr, that version wouldn't beat either GGG/Canelo.

Canelo-GGG was fought a harder pace than GGG-BJS would be. Saunders also won't have as much power as Canelo has to sap GGGs strength in the later rounds. Golovkin showed great stamina in that fight.

He had less trouble with Monroe than GGG? And that was a fresher younger GGG?

LOL great? The word is overused these days, I would say average at best, and slow pace would suit BJS to a t, then he would easily go 12 rounds.

He doesn't have to sap GGGs strength just hit and don't get hit. GGG is very labouring slow hands and feet.

Less trouble? I know WMJ landed some decent shots on GGG but BJS lost 3-4 rounds on my card.

I don't. He's a competent but lazy fighter.. Always fights relative to the level of his opponent. That tendency would really come back to haunt him against Golovkin.

Fights to the level of his opponent will hurt him against GGG, how so?

Would it not help him, GGG is ageing folks, his cherry will be popped 2018 no doubt about it

He landed harder cleaner shots against GGG, made him look bad. Never did that to BJS.

There comes a time when that tendency will come back to haunt him. As it very nearly did against Lee despite the 2 knockdowns. He can get away with that against domestic, european and fringe world level types. Not the elite of the division.

Golovkin has declined a bit sure, but he's still elite. Saunders won't be the one to beat him.

BJS is a fraud champion. It's a joke. Now he wants to fight Amir Khan!? He isn't on the level of GGG, a 35 year old GGG is better than Saunders on his best night, any night. I like his fighting style but so far he is just another meaningless Euro champ who doesn't test himself against the Elite of his division yet calls himself a world champion. Both Canelo and GGG have come to the U.S and Tested themselves against the Elite, Saunders has hid away in the U.K. He has some good wins but he hasn't shown himself to be elite in the division.
