Canelito landed the harder more telling shots but not nearly enough of them.

    You can't score fights:deal

    actually, you cant handicap fights.

anyone that gambles on boxing knew that canelo was going to win all the close rounds(within two or three punches by way of compubox).

those rounds were 2,3,4,7(two points),9,11, all of which a seasoned gambler, at a minimum, knew would be scored for canelo.

    that is 113(trout) to 114(canelo).

now, what were you saying about who cant score fights?

because ive just empircally justified my scorecard which, to this point, youve failed to do yours.

now i can throw in one of those stupid emoticons but at this point it really is not necessary as its obvious you dont gamble much on boxing.

there is a big difference on how a fight is scored in the amatuers(where judging is by and large impartial) to that of the professional ranks where there is promoter influence.

So you got to that conclusion only because of the trout fight?

You know Cotto had a prime right? he was regarded as one of the best young fighters around 07-08 and if it wasn't for the plaster beating, he would have been even better.

I like all this hype for Alvarez. It will give me something to call out all the floyd haters after Alvarez gets wooped. I can't wait to hear the excuses and see all the guys try to deny they ever gave him a chance to win.
Go ahead and keep digging your own grave, then go hide on sept 15th.

you mentioned landing the harder more telling blows....I'm the one that had to remind you that is not how a PRO fight is scored...

    Happens all the time.

They'll disappear once the fight is over or deny they ever gave Canelito a chance.

Then they'll take a look back at the Trout fight and say he should have lost that fight:deal

i remember poster and media types claiming Floyd didn't have the "pop" to get Gatti off him...

Cant lose for Canelo. He wins: New megastar. He loses still exposure on the big stage and future big paydays.

Even if he loses he will make more money in the fights to come then if he would not face Mayweather now.

i dont have a link but thats supposedly why two of the judges favored mosley in the delahoya rematch.

the fight that i scored for oscar even though i bet on shane.

i received a gift and was smart enough to realize it.

by the way, i simply just mentioned that canelo punches appered more damaging but that was not the reason why i thought he won as i expained above.

the fight was close but that doesnt cut it against a gbp fighter.

just look at the scores last saturday in the jsk/berto fight.

    disgusting.

Not sure I agree with you, when he loses he will be exposed as beatable and he will have to start fighting some real 154lb fighters. He is much younger and bigger, losing makes him look weak and small at 154.
Name 1 fighter who has got bigger and better fights after losing to floyd. He may get 1 more big fight but no more.

All I'm trying to say here is that Mayweather vs Canelo fight would've been more competitive if Canelo would've had a little more top level experience.

The fight with Trout isn't enough.
