Well Calzaghe is at NO 3, what has he done more then unifying at Cruiser then unifying at HW beating two prime future HOF'es in Wlad, and Vitali.

If he beats Vitali, and Wlad, and picks up one or two more wins he could well be in the top 5 greatest British boxers ever - and even as high as 2 or 3, depending on the nature of the wins. He wont beat Wlad and VItali though...

Mormeck and Enzo = cleaning up the Cruiseweight division? Are you ****ing kidding me?

David Haye didn't come CLOSE to cleaning up the Cruiserweight division.

Defending your title ONCE is not cleaning up a division. People act like Haye had a reign of terror, not true.

    Stop rewriting history.

Besides these threads are a joke.

Who said he cleaned out at Cruiser?

He unified at Cruiser, and if he somehow manages to beat Wlad and Vit at HW, he is going to be ranked very highly, live with it!

    Hatton could beat Pac

    Haye could beat Klitschko

But yeah its a long odds bet , that they both do it

I think Calz will be gone by then anyway. He isnt going to fight Dawson so what is there to stay around for.

Look no Haye fan on here is saying its a lock that he beats either of them but everyone agreed his best chance was against the overly cautios and ( BE HONEST HERE ) chinny Wlad, but he has signed to fight the guy everyone considers a ****ing killing machine , why not give him some props ?? :huh

    Go on Haye !!!

    No.

It will be very impressive. He would have beaten the top man at cruiser in Mormeck and another champion in Maccarinneli and he would have beaten the top two guys at heavy in the Klitschko's but none of them are top 10 P4P fighters. Mormeck was knocking on the door of the top 10 in some peoples lists a few years back and I think some count Wlad around 15 but it doesn't topple what Pac done beating legends like Barrera, Morales and Marquez and then jumping up weight to beat Diaz and DLH.

While i dont really disagree with you ( Im a huge Pac fan too ) you could argue that of the fighters you mentioned Morales , Barrera ( and deffo ) De La Hoya were past there best and that Diaz isnt exactly anything special in the first place.

Thats why this P4P pish is a waste of time.

Whats wrong with just being a great fighter, raher than having this label attached all the time ?

The first Barrera fight MAB was pretty damn close to prime but i do agree with the rest. However, i still think beating slightly past prime all time greats is better than beating prime, solid but not great fighters like Mormeck and the Klitschko's.

I do completely agree with your last two sentences though. I generally don't bother joining in these P4P discussions/arguments. I would just rather enjoy watching these great fighters fight than spend time picking resume's apart to see who is the P4P.

That would mean Wlad and Vitaly are p4p material...
