Froch was ****ing pushing him back with the jab. Literally moving him backwards with a jab. God damn.

I for one was not surprised by the way the first fight played out at all. But at the same time during the first fight I could see the little adjustments Abraham needed to make. Glen Johnson will give Froch a stiffer challenge than Abraham but also has a bigger chance of getting knocked out at his age and this weight. Unlike Abraham, Johnson actually knows how to get inside a jab and does not leave himself so flagrantly open to body shots.

He needs to throw caution to the wind and start swinging, make it a brawl.

He's got a good chin and Froch is open. At least then he gives himself a shot. Make it messier, brawl and don't let Froch get into a rythmn.

Maybe try jabbing his way in, instead of just walking in with his hands held high

Not really, its more or less his only chance in the matchup. Abraham has a good beard, exceptional power, and pretty much nothing else. Froch is a far better boxer than most acknowledge, the only way Abraham could win would be to turn into a total tear up and throw caution to the wind.

Throwing feints in an attempt to set Froch up isn't something Abraham is realistically going to be able to do, he has little to no adaptability.

If Abraham can drag Froch into a fistfight he'd be a surefire favourite to win.

Froch can't brawl to save his life - in all his previous world level fights Froch had come 2nd in the rough exchanges, apart from perhaps Dirrell who ran/held whenever Carl closed him down.

His boxing ability is grossly underrated, mainly by himself, whereas his chin and power are overrated.

If Abraham repeated those tactics he'd lose again, probably by stoppage..... Johnson has a defence better suited to Carl's wide/swinging hooks and can get inside a jab well too..... I can see it being a real close fight for 8 rounds or so before Froch's engine and will to win see him through against Glen.
