those who know boxing understand no fighter is really scared of fighting anyone (aside from anyone fighting tyson/liston)

now considering both floyd and mosley are currently GBP fighters, and assuming either mosley wins or berto wins and gets signed by GBP. i think there is a huge possibility of floyd fighting for the lineal belt. which would make him ring champion should he win.

i seriously think pac has alienated himself now and dont see him getting a BIIG fight at WW.

so the question is, if floyd does move on in this way, what is left for pac? is he really stupid enough to move up to 154?

the lineal belt is vacant at 147 unless you consider that Floyd didn't drop it when he retired, in which case he already has it wether he fights Mosley or not.

I beg to differ, I say DLH was afraid of Winky Wright.

    :D:D

fights dont get made if they dont make sense, this couldve made sense but so did other fights. now that floyd pac is off, the ONLY fight that makes sense is winner of berto v mosley

well thats not how it is.

Margo vs Mosley was not #1 vs #2 at WW. Mosley was coming off a loss to Cotto at 147 and then a win over Mayorga at 154 so he there's no way he was #1 or #2 at 147. Cotto vs Margo wasn't #1 vs #2 either since Margo was ranked something like #7.

no WORLD CLASS fighter is AFRAID of another man...they are afraid of LOSING...I think the whole pac PBF dilemma had alot to do with both guys riding this wave of invincibility and they both looked at a guy who they thought may beat them...IMO pac was more skeptical, or arum at least on this fight...I truly believe in this fight PBF knew he would win....as far as ODLH that is the worst argument ever...he has fought EVERY FIGHTER....FAR FAR more dangerous guys than winky wright....ODLH was a cash cow and never backed down from money....the risk reward and lack of money with a wink fight just made him go to one of the 500 other options he had

Pac and May have a few likely candidates that would gain them public acceptance from this travesty.

Paul Williams(Sergio Martinez? although they would NEVER step in with him), Timothy Bradley, Shane Mosley/Andre Berto.

Any other fighter like Malignaggi, Cintron or even Joshua Clottey, and I'd feel strongly about it. No offense to this list of fighters, they're talented and all, but none of them are in the mix of elites that Pac and Floyd are.

depends who does the rankings. at the time mosley beat margo it was 1 vs 3, where 2 and 3 (cotto and mosley) had a very close fight. so it still works for me

the only way they can make up for not fighting each other is by chasing a fight with mosley/berto. but i think pac has ruled himself out of that. when all is said an done he isnt yet a draw, more boxers will side with floyd.

Floyd has no choice but to issue an announcement that he will fight in March. If he waits until Jan 31, he will be forced to fight Mosley/Berto which he is scared to do.

His only choice is to announce a March fight before Jan 31.

Exactly what ive been saying,he will use the march date to avoid Shane Mosley.

Despite the fact that he was willing to fight Pac in May.
