I think so. That fight was as big as a Pac-Floyd fight would be. And it happened at the perfect time. With Tito coming of a win over Whitaker. And Oscar coming of a win over Quartey. The two best WW and two of the top three fighters pfp in their prime facing each other. The build up was huge. and so was the hype with all "the fight of the millenium" stuff going around. With Arum and King promoting the **** out of that fight. The fight itself was a disappointment. But yes with the help of 24/7. I believe that fight would still hold the ppv record.
no, and there's a reason why it only became the biggest non-heavyweight ppv at the time. now imagine a 24/7 for Tyson-Holyfield (or even their rematch)
No because there would be very little English in there Plus in those days there was many big fights to chose from
I think Mayweather's personality brings more attention than Trinidad's would have. Therefore a 24/7 for ODLH/Mayweather would generate more buzz than one for ODLH/Trinidad.
