When Harry Wills was offered the fight against Tunney in a final title eliminator in late 1925 early '26.

So who'd win between an aging great in Harry Wills and the up and coming Tunney?

Tunney easy. Sharkey pasted Wills, and Uzcudun Ko'd him around the same years you mentioned.

wills was pretty washed up by 1926, I favor Gene here, but Gene certainly never would have gotten in the ring with a young big powerful george godfrey around this time.

I saw a film of Wills from '27 and he didn't look too sharp. Go with Tunney.

Tunney would have stopped him in 8 or 9, maybe sooner.
