with the likes of lemeuix, jacobs, eubanks, saunders, stevens etc he would get his stool pushed in with the best at 160 let alone the best at that weight

Man, how many threads you're going to make based on that fight? Lemy is a good puncher but that's that.

Yes, exciting. It was a knockout waiting to happen. Lemieux had the size, power, speed, and style, all the advantages he needed to win. All that fight does is confirm what everyone thought: a KO in the making, one way or another.

Does knocking out Stevens somehow make Lemieux the best middleweight? Because Stevens never was, or will be, #1 in his division.

    1. Charlo isn't even the best JMW
    2. The top JMW's probably beat the top MW's

Andrade, Lara, Trout and Jermall (not Jermell) all beat
    Jacobs, Saunders, Lemiuex and Lee.

The only darkhorse is Golovkin, everyone
    regardlesss of division is realistically
gonna have a hard time with him.

Lee vs Lemieux is a great match. I think Lee may fight GGG assuming he beats Jacobs. I think GGG wants to stay busy and Lee is the back up option if Saunders backs out.

It can go either way depending his ability or potental that he has and on the other hand how he is managed. If he has toughness and ability to learn by experience he has a chance to be #1 one day.

It also depends how he is managed. He should stay away from Golovkin and should not be rushed to fight Lemieux anytime soon.

    Then maybe..

Charlo is a lot bigger than Stevens and he won't be riding the ropes in punching bag mode. Plus he won't be allowing Lemieux any wiggle room with the weight. I wouldn't put him in with Lemieux right now because he hasn't acclimated himself to 160 yet but when the time comes, I am confident that he will be ready and give a stellar accounting of himself.

Charlo gets better every fight. He has all the tools to be the best, lets just see if he can learn the game in and out.
