 @ you clowns putting Wonjongkam in your top 10.

After losing to Naito he pads his record by fighting a bunch of fighters making their debuts and bums. Then wins a close decision against Koki Kameda who wasnt a top 20 P4P fighter and now you all put Wong in your top 10 for that. lol.

And what excatly has Bradley and Bute done to be on the top 10? Lopez i can understand, having him at 10 or maybe 9 but having him above Montiel?

Wonjongkam is the lineal Flyweight champ, and has a something like 18 succesful title defenses?

why are klitshckos in so many lists? p4p shouldnt include heavyweights, it was made to work out who was the best of the rest

Because there are heavyweights from 5'10'' to 7'0 from 200 lb to 270. There are orthodox fighters and southpaws. There are big punchers, boxers, brawlers, swarmers and slicksters. There are also former LHW and CW champions that compete at HW right now.

This brings a lot of variety and doesn't allow HW to be one dimensional. Fighting a lot of good and different fighters ranks K brothers high. And if you add their dominance you have elite p4p fighters.

Besides I don't see why should HW or minimum weight should be penalized.

Bradley defended his title against live opposition. None of the guys Wonjongkam fought since the Naito fights (barring Kameda) had any chance whatsoever.

Bute is considered the #2 guy in one of the deepest if not the deepest division of the sport and has the skillset to beat the #1 guy. Wonjongkam is in a crap division and never had the balls to unify the title when the opportunities were there for him.

I would rather put Chris John in the top 10 than Wong.

same can be said for the styles in any division. i just think hw should be on their own. Why is segura in no ones p4p? 3 rd ko vs tello then knocked out calderon is pretty impressive and i have him at 10

I would like to see your reasons (not just yours everyone elses as well) for putting Juan Manuel Lopez above Fernando Montiel.

Well I have them next to each other so it isnt like I have Lopez way ahead of Montiel. I have no problem with Montiel ahead of Lopez really.

But my reason is that Lopez's latest opposition is more impressive than Montiel's. The only name in the last 8 fights under Montiel's belt that are elite is Hasegawa and Castillo.

Whereas with Lopez theres Marquez, Luevano,Deleon and Penalosa.

I also feel JML has more room to win a title easily at 130 if he wanted too, whereas I feel that Montiel has reached his ceiling at Bantam.

But like I said I got no problem with Montiel ahead of Rafa.

I dont think its possible to pick a top 10. after the top 3 it gets a little blurred...

    1. Mayweather
    2. Pacquiao
    3. Wlad Klitschko

    Fair Enough.

But heres how i see it: Montiel's victory over Hasegawa is better than any victory in Lopez resume, including the win over Rafa, who at 35 years old, was already shopworn and best days were at 118. Lopez was the favorite going into that fight, while Montiel was the heavy underdog against a very skilled, fast and younger fighter in Hasegawa. Luevano is NOT and NEVER was an elite. Penalosa was 36 years old fighting a young, fresher, and stronger Lopez, somewhat similair to the Rafa victory, which is Juanma's biggest to date.

On top of all this, Montiel is a 3 division champ, a unified champ, is the man in his division, has beaten the top man of his division (something Juanma hasnt done) and has something like 10 champions under his resume. So overall Montiel has the better resume, and quite frankly he's also the more skilled fighter.

    :rofl

You rate Vitali ahead of Pacquiao! Winning the 'event' against Lewis sure trumps everything Pacquiao has achieved in his career, eh Glasscock?

Yeah, I got lured in to that trap by BoxedEars.

    Thinking about it, I don't really think he's a top 10 fighter.
