Taylor won the first and lost the second. Hopkins showed that he was the superior boxer in both fights, but boxing is scored round by round and he didn't use his skill properly to win enough rounds in the first fight. Entitlement mentality is an aspect of mental weakness and Hopkins IMO fell prey to such a mentality, which shows me that is not the mentally strongest boxer.

Yeah, that pretty much saids it all.

Hopkins was clearly tattooing JT with counter, lead right hands down the pipe on a regular basis while i don't think JT landed one, clean right hand. And it's not like the guy didn't try to land one of those. He just couldn't catch Hopkins.

I think you need to correct your poll. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the second choice is the same as the first. The result of the second choice would be that Tayolor won both fights just like the first choice.

Im quite suprised by the poll results, you hear so much criticism about Taylor and the "gift" decisions he got over Hopkins, yet most people thought Taylor won both fights.

Hop was always in shape too so that sounds like he was killing himself year round just to stay at 160.

Yea I thought Taylor winning both fights would be the least popular choice judging by all of the negative comments over the last couple of years regarding those decisions.
