Vitali would have to try tie up Tyson and lean on him like Lewis did. Yes, Tyson was past his prime but the strategy was 100% right. Grab him, lean on him, frustrate him, get points deducted for holding and then take him out in the later rounds.

I would write something poignant, but saying that Buster Douglas can do anything better than Vitali Klitschko, is frankly so ******ed and obviously biased that I don't know where to begin.

Neither has Frank Bruno and he fought opposition that was light years better than those on either Klits resume!

Maybe Frank could have beaten Ali

i gotta think a lot of these people haven't really seen tyson in his prime. Vitali isn't even comparably to a PRIME Tyson.

Vitali got cut up by a past it Lennox Lewis who had undertrained & came in heavy against Vitali, yet he still had enough to beat Vitali.

Klitscho has never been & never will reach the level of fighter a Tyson once was. The only thing Klitscho has over Tyson is height, reach 7 the fact he speaks more than one language!

You think Vitali's jab would keep Tyson at bay? No chance at all. Tyson's speed would mean Klitscho could not see all the punches coming! He would hurt Vitali. Just too good a fighter at his peak for these guys was Tyson!

Tyson would bob and weave and Vitali would beat him down worse than Buster Douglas and Evander Holyfield did.

lol, i've owned these klitschko nutters so many times on this fantasy matchup, no need to own them again, its simply tiring up to this point. i'll just say this, the fight would be the same as the poll results: one-sided. glad to see the majority of ESB posters have sense

the results still remained the same and the scorecards were null and void as far as im concerned. whether he was ahead on the scorecards or not lewis was ripe for the taking, and vitali couldnt capitalize. and THATS vitali's claim to fame: a loss to a faded champ. WOW!:-(

or maybe because he was contemplating retirement long before he even knew vitali klitschko was. that probably has to do something with it

"JUST"?? it was seven years ago einstein! your making it sound as if it happened yesterday lol. and tyson was faded up to that point. he even said the only motivation he had was the damn paycheck, he didnt care if beat lewis or not. yea, THAT sure sounds like a hungry fighter in his prime:nut

okay....and??? but seeing as you dont have the slightest knowledge of tyson anyone would know he wasn't himself that night. no head movement, no going to the body, no boxing at all! he just threw bomb after bomb looking for a KO. hardly reminiscent of the fighter that got him to the top. you klit boys make too much of that fight, get over yourselves.

well it only makes sense, klit fans automatically assume that because vitali is so big that its an automatic victory. saverese is about the same size as vitali and tyson dropped hi with a left hook. which goes to show you, size is the least of advantages against tyson.

I've seen just about every single Mike Tyson fight as they happened back in the 80's. He was a destroyer when he was matched against glorified bouncers & fighters with size but lacking serious skills. Bruno was terrified of Tyson just like Bruce Seldon, who took a blatant dive. BOnecrusher Smith lasted the distance against Iron Mike, what makes ANYONE think Vitali couldn't? All the younger posters here should take a look at ESPN Classic or even Tyson's Greatest Hits. They're chock full of complete stiffs like Steve Zouski & Peter McNeeley.

You're the idiot clown, over 200 people agree with me, Tyson is an ATG, Vitali is simply just a good fighter, just because he is 6'7 or whatever doesn't make him great.
