Let's settle this: Peter-Vitaly Klitschko, who will win?

I feel a Vitali win will prove just that, Wlad fought Peter in Spetember of 05, Samuel just turned 25 that very month, and was extremely raw and very green at the time, Wlad on the other hand was in his prime, and at or near his very best. Peter gave Wlad a hell of a fight that night, flooring him 3 times, giving him numerous panic attacks and forcing him to clinch 97 times that fight, it was anything but a easy night for Wlad.

My point is, if a prime Wlad had a hell of a time beating a very green Peter at the time, what would that say about a 4 years inactive Vitali if he destroyed a prime Peter? To me that tells me not only is the number 1 ranked Wlad is overrated as a Heavyweight, but the number 2 Peter is as well.

All in all, if Vitali destroys Peter on October 11, he is should looked at as clearly the best Heavyweight in the world and maybe the dominant Heavyweight of the 2000's, at least he wasnt knocked out by 3 journeymen.

The last poster questioned me on my "Terrible Division opinion", well if Vitali dominates Peter, he will have knocked Wlad down a level, because a prime Wlad struggled to beat a very green Peter, and to me thats enough to show how weak division truly is, when a 4 years inactive Vitali can comeback cold, and knock off the number 2 heavyweight champ in the world.

 

Well if Vitali beat two "B" fighters, what did Scam Cheater do? Lose to a "B" fighter in James Toney (HORRIBLE record at heavyweight) and get gifted a decision then take 6 rounds to TKO a glass jaw Maskaev?

 

If Vitali is half as good as he was then he will win.

...ok, now that that is out of the way. I identified those belts as "lesser belts" in my post...and I was demonstrating how Peter and Sykes were in a similar position at the time and held in nearly equal regard.
