From the 6th, Eubank for me took control of the fight.
He started hurting BJS, and had him running for the remainder of the bout.
I'll give the 6th to BJS, after that.

    7th - 12th for Eubank.
So, 6 rds a piece but I'm picking Eubank for finishing the stronger of the two. He had BJS hurt many times in the final few rounds.

    10th & 7th i might have to re-watch.
The biased commonalty was giving rounds to BJS, so. A lot of confusion come from the final 6 rounds.

to me, Eubank won 6, BJS won 6
Its just Eubank hurt him, BJS just racked up the points with his jabs.
People prefer giving decisions to the boxers, I prefer to giving rds to how hurt the opposition was, even if 2:30 of that round he connected more with the jabs, as BJS did. If 30 seconds of that rd is BJS on ***** street.
Eubank wins the round for me.

Spot on because skeete has no charisma and is boring as hell to watch no making a fuss over him being on the wrong end of decision

This forum has gone to Fcuk, the British section used to be a place for adults and folk who knew their boxing, but having read through some of the posts here, its clear that isn't the case anymore.

For what its worth, i had BJS winning at least 7 rounds and theres an argument for him winning one or two more. Eubank was crude and clueless, had BJS boxed for 12 rounds instead of getting sloppy it could have been a shutout.

    Inexperience cost Eubank the fight

Saunders outboxed Eubank early on but chris adapted and was getting the better of Saunders towards the end. unfortunately I think Saunders may have gained a round or two after the 5th which was just (and i mean just) enough to win the fight

Saunders went into the fight with wins over the likes of fletcher and blackwell not to mention the other undefeated fighters he beat on his way up

Eubank on the other hand only had Bradley Pryce as his biggest win . . . . he had nothing much else to go on so when things werent going his way for a change he had no clue what to do in the ring.

Honestly believe they need to take Chris back a step or two

Dmitry Chudinov, Caleb Truax and also Osumanu Adama. take these 3 fights and it might prepare Eubank for the big leagues

Exactly. We have seen BJS get stupid before and it nearly bit him in the ass harder with Eubank than it ever previously had, but he still managed to pull in for a landing despite the late turbulence. Eubank ought never have found a home for his uppercuts and had Saunders boxed the way he did in the early going all throughout he wouldn't have.

Agree with everything you say there. I would only add that in fairness to CEJ, for a guy who had never been past 8? Rounds, and was used to quick wins against part-timers, and used to boxing for max 30seconds per round, he showed some real character, fortitude and attitude.
Let's not forget that apart from being a LOT bigger, CEJ was at a disadvantage in practically every department. So let's give the guy some credit for that.

    I'd agree with all that.

Did well on the night given his limitations coming in. Made the most of it.

Had it for eubank by a round
I had the first very close and the 5th even. Then Eubank took over. Saunders ran and held, and held and was getting really smashed around up close. He was hanging on for dear life at the end. Saunders never troubled eubank and you cant give a light backfoot jab the same credit as a crushing right uppercut. But Eubank did leave things late and one or two of the later rounds were very close.

BJS was slipping tons of punches Eubank didn't land half of what people think he did. BJS won this easily 8-4 I had it 9-3.

but it wasnt like bjs was going to work on chris junior either, his early round success was exaggerated , i cant understand why he defiantely won round 1 for example

It certainly wasn't the dominant BJS schooling that some of his crackpot fans are claiming.

We aren'treally talking about backfoot jabs vs. right uppercuts landing clean in a 1:1 ratio, though, are we? In any round.
