I don't even know who you are so I'll assume you're just another Bunce brown noser.:good Ouch that hurt.:|
Oh no, I haven't achieved any sort of notoriety on an internet boxing forum. :| I noticed you as a Calzaghe hater awhile ago. I don't watch Bunce often enough to comment on his analysis, but I think he has an enthusiastic and lively presenting style, not a bad thing. So don't be assuming again.
I like Steve Bunce, he's really enthusiastic about boxing and can offer an interesting opinion on a fight, i dont see why people dont like him that much. And is it true that he posts on this site?
Sarcasm doesn't suit you. Don't do it anymore.:good I think if you ask most of the regulars on here they wouldn't say I'm a Calzaghe hater & I certainly haven't said anything particularly derogatory about him for some time. I admitted to getting a touch over zealous with my criticism of him in the lead up to the Hopkins fight but thats because he's my favourite fighter. I'll stop assuming when you stop assuming I'm a twat on the basis of a few Calzahghe posts & something Steve "Hyperbole" Bunce may or may not have said.:good
Bunce has less knowledge than some of the planks on this forum, which is quite an achievement His "I told you so" style, despite rarely making a firm prediction is also annoying But overall, I like his enthusiasm to the sport. As long as you have somebody analytically minded positioned next to him, its all good
I'd say dan-b is one of the few guys on here who is actually realistic about Britain's boxers. Obviously he'll come across as a hater to the hardcore fans of these guys, and there are lots of crazy Calzaghe fans, but he isn't. It's nice to talk to someone who isn't too emotionally involved in it all.
To be honest Joe, if you have a problem with me as a poster I'd rather you just came out & said it as opposed to these snipes that have been appearing recently. Thanks. I just take a dislike to mass hysteria & "bandwagons" in general. We, the public, are never credited with having any intelligence in this country so the media feel we need guiding. Whether it's the sports stars we follow or the programmes we watch, the media assume we need to be told. A non boxing example is Theo Wolcott. We all got told he was the next "big thing" but as it has transpired he is most certainly not the next big thing. Credit us with some ****ing intelligence & let us think for ourselves. Alternatively we could just watch a load of ****s in a house pontificate about what a big "challenge" it is then discuss it at work as if we're witnessing something momentous. Rant over.
he does actually say "i told you it would happen" when he hasnt actually said that specific thing would happen on tv, at the most he will say "it could happen" while giving all 20 other things that could happen. i like him though.
I haven't got a problem with you in the slightest - in fact you seriously crack me up. Also I respect your boxing knowledge, especially on the domestic scene. I did actually have a go at you when I first started posting her (I've changed my name since then). You make me laugh so much because I find you very quick to dish out abuse (about fighters and posters) but are extremely thin skinned when some comes back your way.
To be honest mate I only dish out abuse to other posters when provoked or if someones being a clear bellend.:good Anyway, has anyone thought of a sure fire way to establish if Bunce really is posting here?
