    Id have to agree with you man tbh, this thread is in bad taste and I suspect that Brenny made it because he is Mccloskey fan. As an irish boxing fan fan myself I was rooting for Mccloskey in the Khan fight, but he was losing clearly and was on his way to a late stoppage loss I think. The cut eye stoppage was a bad call by the referee imo, but that was no need to go on this ''cheated not defeated'' campaign afterwards. This thread is irrelevant concerning the Khan of now, because he is a vastly improved fighter since his fight with Gomez.

    seen as though khan is very green at this point he looks great. You can call Gomez past it if you like, but he's by no means shot. Gomez also looks good in this fight, he bobbed and weaved and pressured well. Khan showed good adversity to get off the floor and win.

    I like Gomez. Always rooted for him. he had a good story to tell. What this has to do about a current Khan ive no idea

    Who the **** said I was comparing this Khan to the one who fought eg. Maidana, Malignaggi, Kotelnik?
    .

    Watched the Gethin fight Live, the Bailey Fight live, the Thorpe fight live, the Bull fight live etc.


    I've seen more of Khans career than I have McCloskeys

    Seeing as it is beyond the sight of most posters, the point is ..: How the **** were you all so surprised when

    A) Khan got blitzed by the first fighter he faced who was taller than him and had a higher KO percentage? Seeing as most of his opponents were light punching superfeathers, excluding Gomez who was a hard punching super-feather.

    B) Khan overwhelmed Maidana early, floored him with a body shot, but was chased down later on in the fight, somehow people were surprised by othis?

    C) Alex Arthur was trained by Roach, and yet 3 years after Gomez' prime, he destroyed Arthur, because Roach couldn't be ****ed even flying over to be in Arthurs corner LOL!!
