Been there, done that. Polls don't mean ****. Around 75% of people polled thought DLH won his rematch with Mosley, but who cares? 75% of these same people predicted DLH would win the rematch before it happened. It tells us nothing. Lately, on this site in particular, the Calzaghe worship has gotten out of hand. People seem to forget this guy had a mediocre rap before beating the mediocre Lacy, but for some reason, that win over Lacy has caused an irrational tone for most when discussing the great, but not quite elite talent better known as Calzaghe. The number of Calzaghe fans here is astronomical. They are primarily defined as junkies from the UK who all suffer a mass group delusion. Pity them, pity them all! They are not well in the head. Sadly, they're all in for a big surprise when their man gets outclassed by a superior talent in one Bernard Hopkins. :smoke
I would bet my house, my car, my family, my dog, and my watch on Calzaghe winning a CLEAR UD over Hopkins. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can't be this **** an analyst Rumsfield, for someone to not give Joe any chance at all against B-Hop is ridiculously bias & blind, i'm not asking you to say Joe wins, but your complete dismissals of him over & over again mean I will never take one of your posts seriously again. Joe UD or MD 12
I dub them junkies as the cause of their self-delusion, selfish for their inability to share the drugs with their American conrads. :smoke
Tsk! Don't take my posts too seriously....just enjoying the hype that's been surrounding this one long before anything was official. Not sure if you ever heard of that Ciani character who writes for the front page, but I think his article best reflects my realistic views on this matter. CLICK HERE! :cheers
Polls amongst boxing fans mean jack **** - especially in the wake of the similar US vs UK, Black vs White situation in the last few days... ie bias. Rumsfeld is changing my mind slowly about Hopkins chances against Joe. He has been there and done it many times. Has Great record against southpaws. Is rougher and tougher than most of Joe's opponents.
