calzaghe whups his ass....too fast, too much movement, throws punches from all angles plus the fact that hopkins doesnt throw much gives calzaghe a quite easy time with hopkins. i know hopkins is hard to hit but he really doesnt throw enough. if he tries to tie calzaghe up, he will get busted up bad. if he tries to fight from the outside calzaghe will pep him with shots all night. ask hopkins fans who will win they say borenard and ask them how they say cuz calzaghe is overrated but they really never give an explaination on how he would win.

    :cheers

Seriously, though...I give Joe a chance at winning this one, but the thing that most baffles is me is how many people are counting Hopkins out.

To me, this is simply inexplicable!

    Thats more like it:good

And yes, their is no way you can rule B-Hop out, he is still after all a top 10 P4P, higher than any opponent Joe has ever fought before.

This fight does NOT end in a full out KO, either way. NO WAY.

"Calzaghe just beats up old men, frauds and nobodys (Kessler)"

Seriously, Calzaghe is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't fight B-Hop, we all know this.

He may as well get in there and beat him about the head for 12 rounds to punish him for his flat-out racist comments, then B-Hop can tell us all that he only said those things to hype the fight and blah blah blah.

Then we'll all get to accuse JC of only fighting bums and look for the next big-name old timer for him to fight. At least it'll earn him so decent retirement money.

None of these, are my opinions BTW. I'm just cynical about the type of boxing fans out there now. I know that B-Hop was a great fighter (his record speaks for itself) but you're 42 god-damn years old man! Hang up the gloves.
I still respect the guy but his recent comments have really lowered him in my opinion.

Kessler is also a great boxer, the no.1 contender in the division AFAIC, he'll be back to prove his worth yet 'cos he's still young, maybe they should stick him in there with Manfredo and Lacy, to finally end the circus that is those two boxers, particularly Manfredo Jr.
