I have admittedly not paid attention this time around. Who are the potential top pro's, any on the team favoured to win a gold or a silver? How does the team stack up to Cuba's team and of course other team's. Also, just for perspectives, what is China's team looking like this year?:think
Most of them will be the "next big thing", on FNF, getting KTFO by some South American journeyman, inside of 2 years.
Well, everyone has been talking about Andrade and Russell, but I haven't gotten a chance to watch them. Not sure about anyone else, although obviously Wilder gets some attention because he fights in a heavier weight class. I'm curious to see how Cuba fares this year, given the mass defections.
Rau'shee Warren will win a Gold medal, Demetrius Andrade will probably win a Gold; Gary Russell could do well depending on the draw, as could Raynell Williams. Andrade and Warren could be beast pros; as could Russell. On the other notes; Cuba's team this year is **** and Russia's is probably the strongest in the world; they qualified at every weight class. Zou Shiming is the biggest bet for the Chinese this year at 106. I'll probably make a thread about Team USA in the next few days.
Rau'shee could have two broken hands and his feet tied together and he'd still smack the taste out of that boys mouth.
Thanks for the information. I'll be looking for that thread. The usaboxing.org website has some nice profiles on the fighters.
That's a rather bleak attitude, brother. Maybe they'll surprise you. Love the avatar. Who is that and where did you get that picture?
