True, he was born in England and lived in New Zealand for sometime - Though I think he may have lived in Australia for a while too. Anyway, a great fighter.

Unfortunately, I have nothing. But, I will say that the man must have been a real treat to watch and true crowd pleasing fighter. When Bob came to fight - he fought. Simple as that. He was a puncher, and one who was willing to mix it up with people. I wonder if there were any similarities between Bob fitizsimmons and Marvin Hagler, from the standpoint of two big punchers who were always ready to brawl

He must have been one tuff son of a ***** to put it bluntly. I mean for a 36 year old guy who weighed 167 Lbs to step in the ring with James " freakin " Jeffries, and attack him like a shark going after a carcass, is something to be reckoned with if you ask me. Christ, at age 38 he fought a 6'4", 260 lb contender named Ed Dunkhorst and knocked him out in 2 rounds. Bob was serious business in the ring... That's all there is to it.

I don't know what kind of coverage is available, but there's plenty of reading material I'm sure.

I have 3 different bio's on the man. Incredibly interesting man. Fearless and tough as anyone whoever laced them up. A fighting machine
