PBC and Showtime were synonymous until Showtime no longer existed. You know this and are just being pedantic for no reason.

So to paraphrase what you have said here:
-There was no official offer
-Espinoza brushed off the offer, not Boots
-Crawford was a free agent and didn't need BLK Prime to pursue a Boots fight if he truly wanted one
-Boots had a Showtime deal

... So why are you arguing?

To paraphrase, you have no clue what BLK Prime was going to offer for the fight.

If all of this is true and they wanted to break the bank with each other, they didn't need to tie each other to a clause. They'd just simply fight again if the first fight warranted a return. The truth is that they locked themselves in by posturing and getting into a dick measuring contest.

I never suggested that Spence and Crawford were ducking Boots; I suggested that they acted as if he wasn't worth their time... which they did. Why would I say the term "ducking" is overused, then turn around and accuse someone else of ducking? Again, you are arguing for the sake of arguing.

Boots had obligations to Showtime, which BLK Prime tried to bypass. I don't know why this is hard for you to understand. Whether you type in red, blue, purple, etc. you seem to have a major problem comprehending this.

Avanesyan didn't get 3.5 million for Crawford. What on earth are you talking about, my man? And you have no clue what Boots would have gotten paid... but this is all non-sequitur because Boots -stop me if you've heard this- had obligations to Showtime. BLK didn't want to deal with Showtime. Crawford left BLK Prime and continued pursuing Spence, not Boots. They were negotiating all along and Boots was just a name thrown out by a small company desperate to keep Crawford on the roster.

You are throwing information back at me as if I argued a different point. You cued up a debate that doesn't or at least shouldn't exist. YOU brought up the ducking when I stated that ducking is not the term to attach to the situation between Crawford/Boots. I know you aren't suggesting Boots was "ducking" as you are clearly a fan. But if you aren't suggesting that Crawford was (or Spence).....why are you stressing the term in this exchange.

I don't know how to dumb down the point anymore than I have. You claim they were trying to "freeze out" Boots, when they actually were just trying to get paid and enhance their legacy by creating an epic match up. At this point, Boots couldn't give either of them that because he has done NOTHING. And has nothing to offer them, unless Spence wants to stay at 147 and get his IBF title back, which we all know he doesn't.

You claim BLK Prime was trying to go around Showtime, yet, they reached out to Espinoza, who works directly with Showtime as a rep for PBC... What sense does it make to go to him if you are trying to go around Showtime. If they simply just wanted to have Boots on a different platform or a platform they created, they would have simply just spoke with Jaron's handlers and/or his actual promotion reps.

I already pointed out that the Boots fight was their attempt at trying to get another fight with Crawford because Bud signed a one fight deal with them for Avaneysan as his main focus was getting the Spence fight.

(I apologize regarding the $3.5M.....I was holding 2 different conversation on this site and that number slipped my mind and leak into this conversation as that's the amount that was offered to Danny Garcia to fight Crawford.....that was on me. I should have caught that via re-reading my comment)

I do find it entertaining that you are playing too much into the conversation thinking that lack of composure is somehow a factor into any part of this exchange. You have no idea what Boots would have gotten vs. Crawford, what Crawford would have accepted to sign a Boots fight, or if Crawford himself was willing to interrupt his negotiations with Spence to fight another fighter connected to Showtime.

You say BLK went directly to Espinoza... yet identified him as a rep for PBC... which is what I was telling you maybe five posts ago (LOL). I guess you are done pretending that Boots had no affiliation with PBC, so we can move on.

I made no assumptions. I gave simple facts and what is pretty obvious to everyone except those with an agenda about the situation. You keep claiming I have "no idea" what Boots would have gotten to fight Crawford as if I told you the exact price tag. If you had the comprehension of an adult, I wouldn't have to keep telling you that it's pretty obvious that looking at who Boots got to fight earlier in his career, he would get a massive boost in his purse by fighting Crawford. Your response is "you have no idea how much...." as if you are pushing that Boots got $150K to fight Villa and if BLK was to offer Boots an opportunity to fight Crawford he would get around the same amount....... I guess my response is, YOU have no idea how the business goes. If there is more money invested in the match up, he automatically will be award a larger purse.....Unless his lawyers/handlers are as idiotic as this debate you are pushing on the subject.

It's funny that you are trying to twist what I'm saying to run parallel with your false statement from earlier. Claiming they were trying to go around Showtime and I give you facts on what actually happen to showcase they (Crawford) weren't, somehow you take that as "proof" that Boots is affiliated with PBC. You seem like one who refuses to admit you were wrong on something so you nit pick at the response to save face. I've already point out that Boots was signed to NOW Promotions.......NOW Promotions had a deal with Showtime. Clearly NOW promotions doesn't have big name fighters signed to them otherwise they would have massive cards. What they do is attempt to put Boots on a card ran by PBC because it honors their contract with Showtime and it gives Boots a larger audience to showcase his talents. That doesn't give him an affiliation with PBC. There's an interview on YSM in which Boots blatantly says that he's never met or conversed with Haymon or Espinoza personally. Can you point to any of the talented fighters actually affiliated with PBC that have said the same thing. Yea, it's probably best we move on because reality is not a strong skill set in your argument.
