Lets talk about heart

    You know I see that a lot of posters claim certain fighters "don't have heart", and that right there pisses me the **** off. Let's get it straight, ANY MAN who laces up a pair of gloves and FIGHTS for a living WITHOUT QUESTION HAS HEART! Some just happen to have more than others. I find it comical how alot of you guys can sit behind your computer and claim some boxers lack heart.:-( Thoughts?

    Ignore them.Think who are these posters and ignore them.It's easy to speak,we don't know the pain,the work,the sacrificies the fighters have.Like you said some have more than others.
    And that ****** Rico Spadafora and his new man *****(the guy with the tattooed ***** in a hat avatar) say guys like Cotto and Malignaggi don't have heart may their mothers foreever suck the white juice from a man's **** in hell.

    Pavlik has some great heart, he never stopped stalking BHOP even though he was taking a beating .... if that fight went 25 rounds he would have kept going.

    Fair to say. However, there are degrees of heart, and heart has different meanings.

    Take Tyson. Tyson has great, great heart. He gets up, when he's outmanned and outgunend and keeps on fighting, coming forwards. But he doesn't have that tide-turning intense heart that served Evander Holyfield so well. In other words, you could take Tyson's heart away in a way you couldn't take Holyfield's heart away - but we would never say that Tyson had anything but good heart in the wake of the Lewis beating.

    How about Mijares? Mijares, too,had heart. He took a horrible, horrible beating against Vic - a serious beating. He never quit through all those rounds. But did he bring any warrior spirit off the canvas after he went down the first time? I won't say "no", but I do feel there is a differene between Mijares and Gatti or Walker when it comes to judging heart.

    :lol: Yea the best thing to do is probably ignore them. You know Thunder about a month or so back I forget who, but some poster claimed Tito had no heart:rofl:rofl:rofl. I doubt I will ever see a worse post than that(although I probably will):-(
