    Do you hate the WBO?

If yes, do you hate the IBF?

    If no, why not?

Everyone talks about the main three but why do you all include the IBF in the mix but not the WBO?

The WBO is a splinter group from the WBA just like the IBF.

wbo is a commonly vacated belt so as to be ranked for a real belt.

Well, to anybody who's favourite fighter is a WBO champion, a former WBO champion, or in the part of the world where most of the fighters chase the WBO title... of course the answer is going to be the WBO is more legit.

We live in a fairly big world with a fairy large amount of people... And every single one of those people is capable of having an opinion that is very very different to yours. No matter how much you think that opinon is wrong.

The WBO has slowly begun to make some head ways, but is still along the lines of an IBO title, IMHO. They DON'T honour mandatories, which means there whole ratings system is POINTLESS, whether or not you think they're better than other organisations. And as someone has already mentioned, most a lot of guys use the WBO as a stepping stone, and relinquish it to get rated and fight for a real title (Dela Hoya, for example, and Margarito nearly did it to fight Cotto for the WBA)

the WBO forced Calzaghe to fight Veit for the WBO Super Middleweight belt. Calzaghe and Warren hated it, but had no option. the fight went to purse big and Veit won. Calzaghe had to go to Germany to fight his mandatory.

What do you think about this "KO Boxing"??

1 mandatory in 10 years = The organisation doesn't honour mandatories.

It was only cause the WBO forced themselves into a wall by making Veit a WBO "interim" champion.

    :good

WBO is more credible than IBF right now.

If WBA would throw away this nonsense with super/regular chaampion it would surpass WBC.

WBC was the belt that mattered ONLY when it was the ONLY belt that mattered. That distinction now lies with the Ring Belt. WBC is just as bad and corrupt as the rest today. Ya'll are fooling yourself thinking otherwise.

They've all got huge fricken problems - INCLUDING the Ring. In fact, I don't even count the ring magazine. It's about as important as a sportsman getting sports illustrated award.

The WBO had some joke champions early on (Damiani, Hide, Akinwande, Morrison) but it has righted the ship.

The monsters that are Bobby Gun and Peter Manfredo featuring in the two WBO championship night was a night where WBO came into their own.
