With the 2012 olympics on the horizon, it is a very exciting time for british boxing. Looking at our lineup there is a tonne of young talent.

I've been particulary impressed with Luke Campbell. Very tall and the guys got the perfect upright amatuer style. Providing he qualifies I can see this lad taking a medal. Maybe Khalid Yafai.

My question is who do you think has what it takes to go all the way to capturing gold at the upcoming world championships and olympics.

Paddy would do well to be in the top 5 in the country.

I really like the elder Yafai brother. IMO hes the pick of the bunch from team GB. For us got to think Barnes will be fighting for gold, Taylor obviously and I really like the look of Con Sheehan although hed be doing well just to qualify

Haha your on to me :hey

But really though Stalker looks like he might be captaining the team and is in terrific form at the moment Silver at the Euros and Gold at the commonwealths very experienced I think he is 27? So he has a lot of boxing under his belt and now looks like he is peaking just nicely.

Callum Smith the fourth boxing member of the Smith family also seems to be maturing apparently he is going up from Welter to Middle and that seems right because he is enormous he has a year to establish himself at the weight as no1 ahead og Ogogo but i think he can as i dont think Ogogo is anyhting too special and after beating Anthony Fowler in the GBs i think he might be coming into his own in the next year. He has the pedigree so lets see how he gets on

I also like Khal Yafai very experienced in the ams but still young this will be his second Olympic games and he is very highly rated missed out on the commonwealth because of injury but I think he now has the experience and skill to medal in the Olympics and i look forward to him turning pro because he could clean up at the lower weights domestically
