Hell yeah. It's nice to see that there are so many on this forum who recognize the importance of punch resistance in boxing!
Peterson is a light-hitter, but he could certainly shatter the Konman's glass jaw. Froch against Ward is the best likelihood of seeing shattered glass. I actually think Darchiniyan is gonna win, but with his whiskers, I wouldn't be shocked to see him get starched, either.
I'm definitely not picking Moreno to have any success against Darchinyan even though Vic is rocking a disgraceful Glass Jaw. Moreno is too feather fisted and too untested against competition other than South American bums to have any luck here. Khan/Peterson, for all of its irrelevance, is interesting because Khan's Chin is abysmal enough to be cracked even by an average puncher like Peterson and Peterson also has enough boxing skill to make this somewhat competitive. That being said, I'm still going with Khan to ride his bike thereby befuddling Peterson with lateral movement and ineffectual flurries. The most interesting of these match-ups to me is no doubt Froch/Ward. Froch is hard-nosed enough to come forward even in the face of the adversity he's going to face from the speed, superior boxing ability, headbutting, and excessive clinching and he hits hard enough to crack what is, in my opinion, one of the most atrocious and well-hidden Chins in boxing today. I'm favoring Ward but no one should be surprised if Fraudre winds up flat on his back and staring into a doctor's penlight.
Skills? Let's see. Froch KO percentage is falling at each fight. He's fighting tough and talented guys but Ward is not an easy client neither. He has faced Miranda and Abraham and took well their powershots.
Glass Jaws exist in Boxing. That is a Fact. We also talk Glass Jaws on ESB. If you don't like it you can leave nuthugger.
How true my esteemed colleage, how true. For years here I was in the wilderness, thought to be a crank. Now, awareness of the importance of punch resistance in boxing is spreading like wildfire. Except among the hero-worshiping fanboys and the delusional glass jaw deniers, chinchecking in IN!!!
yikes:yikes Two professors posting back to back. Only on a Chinchecking thread would you find such a wealth of knowledge. To Professor I C Chins and the founding father of the Chinchecker Movement Zakman, we salute you. :happy:happy:happy
