What were people's thoughts on Khan's performance last night ? What are your thoughts on how he's looked with Hunter ? I think Virgil did an excellent job last night in the corner ! :bbb
This was his best performance in years. Maybe since the Judah fight. I also wanted to point out that Carlos Molina (vs. Broner) was a game fighter. In my opinion, Khan's performance against Molina considering they had very little time in the gym together (Khan and Hunter), was not all that bad. I think the Diaz fight though was a little disappointing.
I was not as taken by the performance as many on here, even though I feel it was a good performance. I was more surprised at how Collazo didnt change what he was doing. I dont really think Khan is doing much different
Great performance Signs of improvement coming through..although it has been slow. He really needs to stay in the gym while he's out of the ring... Not many people seem to be able to identify the subtle things he is now doing There were a small few mistakes he made...but overall it was a great performance. He controlled Collazo and the ring perfectly.
Was the Diaz fight really such a disappointment? Diaz gave Porter hell in the first fight and a very close fight in the second. Porter has been killing it lately so it could be that Diaz was a better win then most people think.
I wish Molina just stepped on the gas more ,seems at times he was just going through the motions .. And seems the chemistry with Khan and Hunter is getting better .
Yes it was a disappointment. Round 10 or 11 Khan got hurt dropped his hands and clapped (like Pacquiao does) then tried to go to toe to toe (bang) with Diaz...Almost got floored doing that sht and was hurt badly.
Virgil is what khan needs, someone to keep him in check, he was telling khan off a lot in the corner, at one moment he told him to look at him when he was talking to him looool
Broner needs some of that. His team are too busy clapping his shitty gym sparring and flashy crap and are afraid need to criticize his lack of concentration, low workrate and bad footwork. Losing concentration and dropping his workrate let Molina win 2 late rounds he shouldn't have won...
He looked really good. I kept saying he would present different problems for Mayweather than Maidana would have, so much speed, combinations and range. Maidana did pose his own problems to Floyd though, but I still want to see Floyd-Khan.
I was impressed he didn\t get caught up into exchanging with Collazo. He stuck to his game plan. New trainer is good for him.
