Good card. About time we got served with a decent one. Amazing how much the cards improve when a promoter has to work harder for his main event.

    From the main forum.......

After knocking out Mendoza in 2 rounds, Mitchells promoter Frank Warren stated that they have been given 28 days by the WBO to set up Mitchell Vs Katsidis for the WBO Lightweight title (or Kats interim if JMM doesn't vacate I suppose).

    Interesting?????

This should be a hard fight...I have only see a little of Mitchell

I had big wraps on Breidis Prescott after he stopped Khan round 1

    Mitchell Wide UD Prescott

I think I have a problem with Mitchell....the guy won vacant and Inter-Continental titles....he must be a joke...right Leon and flamer...I mean if he didnt fight for these titles he would not have this shot today :hey

WOW.. almost intelligent. Like I said.... ALMOST!!!

It's called money Ashley... The WBO, as others do, have these bull**** Sanctioning belts in place for no other reason than $$$$. How many of these titles did Pac win before beating Cotto??

None.. I'll say it slowly for you half wit... Pac didnt need to pick up any of these **** poor titles due to the fact he generates BIG $$$$ in all fights. Giving someone like PAC an immediate shot at any TITLE is more
than enough $$$$ garanteed for a Governing body via sanctioning fees.

    Moron.

Stop leaving yourself open... WTF has being 1 P4P got to do with anything??? And WTF is World P4P bull****??? It's just another pile of rubbish for the commentaters to talk about.

You're now saying that Manny Pac has the god given right to walk from division to division and take what he chooses??? You obviously don't see the gross injustice to the other fighters when this kind of **** happens.

You've really no concept of much at all do ya?? Seriously.
Its money... nothing more and nothing less.. Pac will be yesterdays hero before too long, and another bloke will walk through the divisions with an open door policy soon enough.. Meanwhile, guys will continue fighting for interim, regular and whatever belts in order to line the pockets of the Governing Bodies.. REAL CHAMP... just like Mr. 3Time... lmfao.

Dont agree Pac's 1 in a million...we are talking about top 25 fighters increasing their profile picking up regional titles and then getting shots at the 4 major belts....dont bring Pacman into this...were not talking about elite fighters here :nono

Not talking about elite fighters here?? THAT'S EXACTLY RIGHT!!

Finally you seem to differenciate even more from the higher echelon of fighters that make a major difference in standards.. Mundine is #How many times??

Seriously now... this ELITE level of fighters that seem to contain no other than Manny Pacquaio ATM is no better than a 1970 L/W division.. Duran was KING. Late 60's Bantam div.. Lionel was King.. and so on and so forth.. Even when Lionel was in the mix, every other division had a sensational champ and mix in the top 10...

From the 1920's onwards, there has always been a well known bunch associated with every division, on every level reverting back to each country.. Now we see fighters jump up and DOWN through divisions, skipping around merrily learning the fkn ABW.. oops.. BWA.. oops, BAW.. oops, WBA at all levels of learning.. interim, recess or laxatively inclined regular.

Ashley, this has nothing to do with the fighters abilities, nor does it have anything to do with helping fighters gain an opening to a title shot.

It's revenue, revenue and more revenue. In saying that, it also take A LOT of money to make SOME money.

Ever wonder why the WBA bosses have been titled Spineless *******s? It's due to the amount of back scratching that goes on.. very erosive situation.
