    Seriously though...

what the hell has this sport come to? I think we can all agree that we are all frustrated with the current stature of the sport. We are at the hands of selfish promoters that none of us as fans give a F about. Every day we sit here and argue about PPV Numbers, Catch Weights, Who's To Blame for what fight not getting made. At this point who gives a rats ass, the sport is being held hostage by two guys and it's delaying everything.

    No Tim Bradley Date
    No JMM Date
    No Danny Garcia Date
    No Amir Khan Date
    No Shawn Porter Date
    No Keith Thurman Date
    No Adrien Broner Date
    No Marcos Maidana Date
    No Lucas Mattysshe Date

WTF IS THIS BU******?! These guys are sitting around wasting their own time and the fans time because they are all waiting for maywether or pacquiao to make a move, and at this point I don't even care. I hold both of these guys responsible for not making the fight.

Pacquiao should have got rid of bobs ass a long frucking time ago. Bob Arum (with the help of Koncz) is robbing pacquiao's ass blind and Roach is an accomplice in this entire thing.

I personally don't blame floyd as much because I know his promotional situation cannot be anywhere near as complicated as Pacquiao's but I also wish I knew how hard he tried to make the fight. He's stated numerous times that he's tried but he should have set up a 1 on 1 meeting with pacquiao or some ****. Fruck koncz and these idiots. Floyd needs to show pac man the bread to get this **** done already and get koncz and arum from out of the middle of it....

now you add in this bull**** with ODLH and Arum and it complicates the thing 1 million times more. I have no idea what happened but I'm sure oscar is just mad because he has no control of the company that he supposedly owns and Arum promised him some control (an arum promise means nothing)

whatever im sorry i'm just sick of this bull****. I wish all the promoters would just join forces and create one organization like the UFC. UFC never bullshits with the fans.

Problem with UFC is monopolization means fighters can't really shop for the best deals. Fighters get... what, like, 20% of their purses at the UFC?

Anyway, you're right it's aggravating. Fans should respond by boycotting PPVs before Pacquiao-Mayweather is made.

thats probably better in all honesty... that means you don't get good money unless you really deserve it. Only the Mayweathers & Pacquiaos of the world would see real revenue, no more over paid frauds.

It's not reasonable that a promoter run off with 80% of the revenue of a fight and the man putting his life on the line takes 20.

There should be a fair split as there is in any league. The NBA Is like 52-48. advantage owner. That should be fine for any league. It shouldn't ever go past 50-50 for either side.

Out of all the guys mentioned. Porter maybe the only one to get a date .

Their needs to be one governing body the problem is boxing is run by gangsters ! I would love the format to be similar to the UFC but unfortunately that's wishful thinking .

The UFC guys need a union, that is obvious, they are getting exploited big time, risking their lives. On the other hand, boxing is basically split in two organisations: HBO and Showtime. And that is a problem!

The only issue I see with this is granting a single person or entity too much power over an entire sport.

It's literally they same thing as when Oscar said that Golden Boy should be the only promotional company in the world. I don't like the idea of a monopoly taking over the whole sport, but at the same time fighters should somehow be forced to fight who the fans want them to fight.

By the way, all of the names you listed are in the the Jr welterweight - Jr. middleweight sphere.

There are problems in other divisions (people ducking Golovkin for example, or Adonis running to Showtime), but it seems that most of the corruption in the sport boils down to that on area of competition (which ironically enough all 3 culminate in the most lucrative weight area in boxing).

The fragmentation of boxing works for those in positions of power. Simpler times have long gone, and it'll probably only become more complex (with more world titles and nonsense belts etc) in future.
