So that we will have to pay again?

2 fights against the same opponent means two paydays.

Listen to how you talk. I think the answer is quite obvious. Did you make it beyond Jr. High? I especially like "he doesnt pay me no more." Thats dumb with a capital D! Kermit never paid me. Never made a dime off him, but through my dedication, and help he did make a nice career for himself. I do believe when I met him he was making 7.00 and hr. laying carpet.
As for accomplishing more in my life than I did. I cut my path in life on my own. Worked hard, saved my money, and started my own business. Awesome Enterprises Inc. I never exploited people that were good to me and showed me kindness. I never forgot where I came from. I have been a good son to my father, and a loyal husband. That's more then Cintron could ever hope for.

I dont like Kermit Cintron bit but i thought he was winning the fight. A rematch has to be done i need to see how it ends.

P.S. They are both Martinez leftovers. :D

The doc could be lying though... this isn't the first time I've seen that happen. The doc in the Vitalii - Lewis fight lied as well to cover his ass. This could be the same scenario.

Anyway, Cintron represented himself well in that letter. It's hard to know and believe what happend for sure, but one thing is certain, he WAS giving Paul Williams problems and could have very well been on his way to a career defining win if it weren't for the incident that took place.

I hope a rematch happens but I doubt it does considering Williams has better options out there right now.

About as obvious as Goossen wanting no part of a rematch because his guy got tagged in there.

Yeah its two paydays but there are two sides here, Joe.
I think it's real telling that Goossen wants to take a dubious TD and run with it rather than face a guy who was giving his fighter more trouble than anyone expected.

As the other poster indicated, the doctor himself said that Cintron did not wish to continue, replying "no" twice when asked if he did. It was only when the fight was called and going to the cards did Cintron start complaining. There is a chance that the doctor merely said that stuff to protect himself, but with Cintron's history, it's hard to take his word over the doctor's. So at best, Cintron faked that he wanted to continue the fight. As to his assertion of how the fight was going, there wasn't much between the two fighters in any round and the fight was glacially slow. I don't see any great demand for Cintron coming after yet another odd ring incident and a boring fight to boot. Williams should just move on and try to get a better opponent instead of wasting a year of his career on Kermit.

As a matter of fact i think Kermit can beat Williams. I think Williams is overrated but like always u have to expect Cintron to fold in the second half of the fight.

Going with KC's history, I tend to believe the doctor but here's the thing: Dude waited 3 days to come out with his story. He was not available to give this story after the fight for whatever reason despite Lou and Ronnie Shields yelling at press row my guy wanted to continue, they said he might have a punctured lung so they called it, etc. I mean it wasn't like Lou and Ronnie were whispering it. They were in the ring yelling it and on press row yelling it.

Not saying one side or the other is right or wrong in their story.

What I am saying (and have been unable to do) is we need to find an unbiased, third party to corroborate either story.

Can someone post video with sound of Cintron actually saying to this doctor that he did not want to continue? I'm sure it's out there as people are swearing by it.

This is pretty much right on. If he was ok, he could have hopped to his feet.

Cintron was also right about hurting Willaims with a right hand in that final round. Seconds before the fall, Kermit beaned Williams with a long counter right hook which seemed to buckle Paul a little bit... If Williams had continued to be aggressive, I think that scenario would have played itself out over and over again during the course of the fight. Which might have been good enough to earn Cintron a win.

If that scenario had played over and over, I think Cintron wilts eventually while possibly being up on the cards.

Paul will take those buckling shots again and again, but Cintron will not be able to keep up that exchange... Even if he seems to be getting the best of it.

You just can't pick two guys who are polar opposites when it comes to mental strength and stability.

    Just my opinion.
