Well I guess it's a matter of believing the one or the other, Cintron or the doctor in this case.

I know some people feel that Cintron doesn't deserve another payday vs Williams, but no matter how they feel, the fact is that Williams didn't deserve to get the 'W' after those 3,5 rounds either.

Noone can say that Cintron wasn't heading towards a career-defining victory, as he put it himself. And judging from what we saw in those first rounds, Cintron looked like he really had a chance. And lets not forget both guys trained their asses off for that fight.

Although some fans or even HBO doesn't like Cintron anymore and they blame him and only him for what happened, truth is a rematch is needed between those two guys.

PS: Have in mind that noone will fight Williams @ 147 at this point. PW has to look for a fight @ either 154 or 160. And Cintron is one of the good names out there for his resume, if he beats him that is.

Ok this is my thing: If I someone is publicly lying about my actions which in turn can affect me professionally because everyone will believe that i cheated my employer (fans/hbo) I will make sure to set the record straight and say that that person is lying. He does not address what the doctor says he just regurgitates what he said before.

Cintron wanted an easy out!! And that's what he got!!!!!!!!! P. Will would of eventually took him out anyways, simply because Cintron hates adversity!!

You may have a point on the whole mental strength advantage. That's why I originally predicted Williams to be the winner in a close fight even though I thought Cintron's style would bother him a whole lot. I basically thought Williams could've willed himself to victory.... but regardless of the winner, I think P. Willy would've had a very tough fight on his hands had the fall not occurred.

It was definitely shaping up to be a much tougher fight than a lot of people had expected.

I think they both would have had to dig deep for this one. And I just think P would have been able to dig deeper.

But like I have said before. I like Cintron a lot, and I think he's a bit underrated at times.

Hate to jump into these back and forth's...but Bazooka's right. You're clearly a bitter ex-trainer expecting some Tyson/D'Amato fantasy relationship from Cintron because of the free "dedication" you put into him and felt you should've been compensated by this in some way...and this is only furthered proved by saying "I exploit people that were good to me and showed me kindness." which GREATLY implies that because he shafted you like that, he's going to get what's coming to him...and that's you're whiny ass gossip on ESB.

I don't like Cintron and I actually defended him after the fight. Like you say if it goes into the later rounds Williams has showed guts before and Cintron hasn't. Either way there is no way that fight should be official.

From the Doc's perspective he is damned if he keeps him on the ground or damned if he lets him fight if he was injured. The safe play is to keep him down, I don't think we will ever get a straight answer. However the one thing I was saying on Saturday is that was probably Cintron's last shot at the top, if he folded there that is just way too ****ing weird, even for him. Even if he thought it would be a NC he isn't getting another shot at Williams and I thought he had a draw based upon the 4 rounds, I actually think the draw was pretty damn clear.

I think it's quite obvious that we're allowing Cintron's past history cloud our rational judgment and just plain see that the doctor was trying to save face.

Watch the video from 1:00...everything KC says in the video is pretty much happening. I watched my own DVR'd version of the fight and noticed that KC's leg was moving when the doctor first approached him and he looked ready to get up but the doctor held him down and said "just stay down" blah blah blah...

I'm finding it hard to believe that Cintron would throw the fight when he was winning. Especially after buckling Williams like that. If he didn't ***** out of the Angulo fight...I think he would've done himself enough justice to try and win.

The only argument I can make for the doctor against KC is that during the Martinez match. He was hit with that punch and voluntarily went down thinking he was hit with a headbutt and watched the ref give him a 10 count thinking he was given time to recover and then bitched about the decision "Naa ref! That was a headbutt!"...Somewhat like another poster said about thinking he can get some recover time or win a decision and then found out he got shafted and busted a Martinez incident "Im ****in' fine! I wanna fight." But even something like that somewhat correlates to what he said in the letter...its hard to call him a liar.

Cintron took two big shots before he landed his one, and then took a shot before they got tangled.

He got outgunned three to one, and Williams punches were harder.

Cintron wasn't winning that fight, nor that round, and he wasn't going to win if it went further.
