The worst version of Lewis vs the best version of comeback Foreman.

I'm not saying Foreman would win this, but he has the jab and the power to bother Lewis here. Still taking Lewis on points though.

Probably Lewis but Foreman with his power of course has a good chance as Lewis was KOed twice by singular punches.

I'd favor Foreman here. Foreman wasnt a cutter and had every bit the chin of Vitali with more power. And his legs werent completely shot by 91, unlike his fight with Briggs.

If Lewis took him on short notice or had a change of opponent a week before the fight George has a pretty good shot. Otherwise he just has a puncher's chance.

You mean the Lewis that fought Vitali? I think 91 Goerge would get toLewis in the later rounds and stop him.

    all Lennox.

He'd have Foreman attempting to play defense way way too much. It'd be like the Moorer fight for George getting hit by the kitchen sink. but this guy is a lot harder hitter and better defensively. No late round ko to save the day.

But the Lewis right hand is coming over foreman's left hand often.

You'd have to favour Lewis. He was overweight and he was dying for air at the end of the sixth of the Vitali fight. However, he'd just been in an intense slobberknocker of a brawl with a massive and younger guy. His skills were still there. The much more pedestrian pace of Old Foreman would suit Lewis down to a T.

The slow plodding Lewis who was blocking Vitali's punches with his face??

91 Foreman would devastate that version of Lewis.

The tape shows he walked forward in straight lines and was easy to hit. Nobody beats Foreman fighting as recklessly as Lewis did against Vitali.

I doubt Lewis would have the stamina, strength and chin to hold off 91 Goerge for over 12 rounds.

Would be a messy, mauling type fight for me, with Lewis tying him up in clinches and leaning on him. Foreman unable to really get any good shots in and getting frustrated and chucking low blows. Lewiss best shots would have Foreman s face puffed up and Lewis would also have slight facial injury. Somehow it reaches 12 and there s not a lot between them. Lennox gets a gift majority win to see him in to retirement.

LOL. In 2003 Lewis stopped Vitali. In 1991 Foreman lost to Holyfield.

Lewis had, prior to that, come off stopping Tyson and Rahman.

Foreman had, prior to that, managed to beat two nobodies.

Ol' George would get picked apart by even that pedestrian version of Lewis.

Prime Holyfield is a different proposition than an overweight past prime Lewis.

So then why did you bring up Holyfield?
