After repeating that he would come back for 100,000,000. He said today:

"People always ask me if I am tempted to get back in the ring, and the answer is yeah, of course....I can't help thinking I am his only competition....

Sound sto me like its really starting to gnaw at him.

Nah, not really a hint. Anyone who has ever been in the ring, the motivation always comes back...he has already stated he would get back in the ring, but knows he probably isn't capable at his age and wants to spend time with his family/is enjoying life.

At least Calzaghe retired without unfinished business. Lennox fled the sport after his toughest challenge and has teased bitterly at making a comeback for nearly a decade since while denigrating the division he ran from. Put up or shut up. I'd buy the PPV along with my Brittard friends here who are glad there was never a rematch and would prefer it never happens, but would buy it up in a second when their blinding jingoism kicks in Haye vs Audley-style.

What's the point in coming back when everyone knows the current champions are clearly inferior?:huh

Just about every fighter that's retired feels they'd still be the top competition and are tempted to get back in the ring.

    This is a non story.

He ducked the rematch in 2003, why should he come back now, he is old, fat and hasn't seen a gym for nearly 10 Years.

Nobody really belives he will have a chance againt a Brother, why should he ruin his legacy or risk his health?

Lennox is just toying with the media. Throwing them a bone and laughing at them.

and some more legit defences of his WBO SM title, and at least one legit defence at LH, and at least one defence in his 10 years of title holding v a ATG or at the very least one HOFer who wasnt 40something.
well then again HOFer Eubank did stand in as a quick replacement for a payday against him.
