    I literally was about to type something identical to this- He has some delusional followers, He was not a natural HW in his own era let alone be a LHW fighting SHWs today.

    To be fair, Chok is WAYYYY more extreme than your typical Marciano fan. Hell some other (far more realistic) Marciano fans on this very forum, don't even like him :lol:

    There is no way he has ever boxed at any level despite what he has claimed.
    We had an ex pro on here by the name of Magnasaki or similar. He gave constructive criticism about fighters. He most certainly did not spend 10yrs + constantly running down a certain type.
    Glad to see McGrain is taking him apart yet again.

    Maybe the crux of the matter is Marcianos most loyal followers have never stepped in a ring.
    When they heap this praise on him, they are not looking at the actual boxing side of things, they are looking at something else.

    To the best of my knowledge, neither of them spent 10+ yrs of their lives running down Liston. I imagine they both thought very highly of him?
    Maybe their opinion would be worth somewhat more than anyone on here?
