You could make a video like that for any boxer given enough footage. Equally, you could make a video of a boxer blocking punches and it would look like they were a defensive master. The fact is, Lewis had a good enough defense to be rarely hurt despite fighting in an era overflowing with large hard punching heavyweights.

Like any fight, that doesn't go to a decision, the results speak for themselves.

I disagree. History will show that when V.K. had a chance go take over the division, he failed against an over the hill Lewis. Face it one shouldn't have to be defending their titles in their late 30's or early 40's, I can't think of anyone else who was doing that, besides Foreman. :deal :yikes :bbb

and it was incumbent on V.K. to win that fight.

Careful to those that don't agree with the thread title - Lewis will probably sue you - He was pound for pound the most litigious HW champ of all time...

True, its just too bad they couldnt have another fight, the first fight was one of the most exciting Heavyweight fights in years, at least for the first 6 rounds.:yep

Imagine of it was the other way around. Lennox was winning, a cut on Lewis caused by a punch from Vitali brings an end to the bout. Vitali TKO 6.
This place would be anarchy. No way are folks only satisfied with the result.

I left this forum around that time because the Klit-huggers made it unbearable.

Vitali would rather retire than defend his title.

    That was 5 years ago.

There seems to be a LOT more British posters on here now compared to then.
