Imagine if Roy retired after first Tarver fight, or Tyson after Lewis ( i know he lost prior to that and that fight too, but at least he would not give a W to Williams and freaking McBride), Holy after Ruiz or even Lennox and many more.

Lewis has nothing to be sorry for......a rematch would have been great, but at the end of the day its his choice.

Should the brothers apologize for not fighting each other? No. Should Lewis apologize for retiring? No.

Wlad beat Byrd twice, and Byrd is better than any win Lewis resume...including Holyfield...who Byrd defeated.

Tyson? :patsch Give me a break. Tyson was so washed up at that point, you can't even seriously include him in that list.

Holyfield & Vitali were easily his best wins.

You can see that above Wlad has already surpassed Lennox in every area except resume, and I've taken a few mins to outline their highlights below.

Keep in mind that Wlad is currently in his prime and likely has several years left..

    Former Champions Defeated:

    Wladimir Klitschko:

8 Former World Champions: Haye, Peter (twice), Chagaev, Rahman (who KO'ed Lennox), Ibragimov, Brewster (who beat Golota), Byrd (twice), Mercer
    2 Intercontinental Champions: Thompson, Nicholson
10 Regional/National Champions: Brock, McCline, Chambers, Austin, Jefferson, Williamson, Barrett, Moli, Botha, Schultz

    Lennox Lewis
11 Former World Champions: Weaver, Briggs, Akinwande, Tucker, Rahman, Tyson, Bruno, McCall, Morrison, Mercer, Grant
    0 Intercontinental Champions:
9 Regional/National Champions: Mavrovic, Chanet, Mason, Dascola, Botha, Tua, Williams, Dixon, Ruddock

i love it how Klittards feel the need to bring out their little book of Klit-licking facts and figures to justify the fact that the Klits have no legacy

I have a real problem with the WBO being counted in all of those stats as a standalone belt being equal to the others.

It wasn't worth much until Wlad picked up it up this time around.

Up until then it was pretty much a fringe belt.

It meant not a lot when guys like Herbie Hide, Mercer etc. had it. It wasn't taken seriously at all.

Wlads title reign and run of world title fights started when he beat Byrd IMO. It's still impressive, so why try and tart it up with something worthless that's not required?

Wlad has. Ever been undisputed either which isn't a great thing. Nobody knows if he would have beaten Vitaly a few years ago (I think he would now).
