George always had a lot of admiration for Lewis. In 1991, gotta go with Lewis by UD (in 1974, I back Big George)
High Top fade Lewis with a low left prob takes A a solid overhand right. I'll take the maker of my fav grill, Big George Foreman by K.O.
Well, seeing as Foreman has repeatedly stated that there was no way in Gods green earth he was ever going to get into the ring with Lewis at that point in his career, I think I'd pick Lewis.
I'm a massive Lewis fan but this fight at this point in time would have probably been all wrong for him. Foreman by KO in 4 or 5 rounds. Lewis from around 1996 onwards would own old George though. Prime Lewis v Prime Foreman is a different matter - Foreman by KO every time.
Foreman was nowhere near fast enough to get anywhere near Lennox in 91 or any time in his career. There is a good reason why George avoided the similar style of Larry Holmes too.
If guys like McCall and Rahman could take Lewis out, even a aging Foreman would have a good shot. The big question is whether Foreman could get his money shot in on that shaky chin.
mccall and rahman all had something going for them that foreman didn't ..an edge in speed to catch lewis... lewis blasts him out in 3 rounds after maybe dropping him a time or two
We are talking 91. go back and watch big george against holyfield that year... No ****ing way does lewis blast foreman anywhere.... Lewis was green at that time still.Old man foreman was strong enough to walk trough lewis s bombs and take him out late.
