Lewis from the Mercer fight vs Ali from the Lyle fight, who would have won?

Well I assure you that your opinion is not shared by many and every man who ever boxed had pros and cons to their game nobody is perfect

How can you comment that the 90s heavyweights were too easy to hit, when Ali In the 70s was hit so bloody much it sometimes defied logic that he was able to keep winning.

Imagine Ali starting the fight the same way against Lennox. He literally goes out clowning, walking Lyle down with a high guard barely throwing anything.

This version of Ali could cause Lewis a few problems early on, but he either gets knocked out by Lennox or stopped on his feet absorbing ridiculous amounts of punishment or Lennox coasts his way to a points win refusing to risk over exerting himself.

 

The 90s top dogs would mop the floor with the 70s top dogs.

I think around the Shavers fight was when Ali first started showing minor symptoms.

Ali was certainly past prime vs Lyle and a bit overweight.
