Lewis gives credit to Vitaly

Two great heavies...

 

He shows more respect than some of the fans...

 

Lewis needs to give Vitali respect, Vitali was kicking his ass for five rounds.
And Lewis ran away from the sport because he was scared to rematch him.
And boxing fans know it.....

 

respect to vitali for taking on lewis at short notice,but also respect to lewis to take on such a different fighter than what he had prepared for!.

i do think a less worn,less achieved and more prepared lewis could have done even more damage to vitali!.

Ive always been a huge Lennox fan but why the hell did he not rematch Vitali ?

the world demanded that fight and the first fight while a win for Lexxox had not proven who was better

And Lennox was lucky to be given his rematches and thats the reason that he can throw around his stats about beating all in the ring and even if he lost to Vitali he could still say that as he got the first win,

Seems to me whenever Lennox had a close call he never gave the opponent the same chances that he got , he got rematches with McCall Rahman and Holyfield

then when he went to close calls like vitali and Merrcer not a chance of another fight

I dont like that

 

Also even today nobody would give Vitali a better fight than a Lennox Lewis with 6 months training

 

This would have been a terrific fight had both went into training camp to face each other

Vitali would have been better prepared and Lennox would have been better conditioned

 

It took quite some time for Lennox to admit something that was obvious for everybody, but better late than never.
