The more that haters rip Calzaghe, the worse Hopkins looks for it. I love how people who picked Hopkins to win would rather diminish the guy who beat him without realizing that's just making Bernard look that much worse.

i don't like the fact that he's managed to go through his whole career undefeated sporting such an amateur style, volume punching and outworking your opponent is the name of the game in the olympics but not in the pros. I actually like to see technique when i watch fighters.

P.S why are all of you surprised at bernards tactics he would have got beat bad if he'd have gone toe to toe the clinching helped break joes rhythm and fight at his pace. And landing on shoulders arms and back does not constitute effective aggression!! God i ****ing hate this guy i beg rjj beats him just to shut up him and his smug idiot of a dad

That's rich, because I've read just as much BS explaining why Joe didn't look like Billy Conn last week. The best by far was Nalian's altitude chart, which I'm STILL hoping was meant to be a joke.

Alot of guys here who supported Slopkins, bashed Wlad for his tactics vs Peter, and Joe now knows what it's like to face a strategic champion, and Nard could to this now, at 23, 33, or 63..I feel Joe felt ( excuse this comparrison ), like a major league 300 hitter who has faced lots of 90 plus fastball pitchers, and suddenly a knuckle ball pitch ( Nard ) comes in and throws pitches from 45-55 and Joe can't hit those yet...then he catches on aftaer about 10 tries at the plate..I think joe is still skeptical of his left hand, so he just wants to rack up sparatic fluries, that are mainly arm punches. I noticed that Joe has over 30 Kos', and I bet they were b4 his hand prblems..

 

How did defensive genius Hopkins actually get hit by amatuer Calzaghe? Hopkins really must be getting old, no other way to explain an amatuer slapping his way to a victory over ATG Hopkins.

 

You either like boxers who display the art of boxing (like Lewis himself) or there is Slappy Joe ... you pays your money you takes your choice! Why does everyone on this forum seem to be obssessed with Calzaghe? It's boring as hell .......... like the fight was!
