I thought it was a phantom headbutt? Or was it Lennox's illegal dreadlocks? I can't keep track of which excuse is flavour of the month with Klitlickers nowadays.

Interesting to count how many flush uppercuts the 215lb Mavrovic takes from the younger, fresher Lewis for twelve rounds, yet Vitali takes one big one in the sixth and he's hailed as having one of the best chins of all time.

Did the fight go to the cards? I must have forgotten that part. Who won?

 

The top cut was caused by a headbutt.

The second cut above the eyelid was caused by a thumb from a thumbless glove.

The third cut on the cheek was caused by a stray dreadlock.

The swelling on the upper lip was caused by god knows what. Maybe a badly angled pixelated gif of the fight can shed light on this strange mystery.

 

I wish I wasn't so addicted to this site, so I could just jump over this tired, dead horse of a subject.

It's simple: Vitali shouldn't go around claiming he won, when obviously he face was busted wide open. And Lennox should've fought him again. Shame on both, for separate reasons. And that's that.
