Vitali was the reason Lewis retired. When it took an ATG like Lewis 6 whole rounds to stop a robotic glass heart steroid cheat he knew he was not the fighter he once was and needed to retire before other **** heavyweights could try to add a "win" against old fat Lewis to their resume.
Vitali won the event, won the scorecoards, won compubox, and also won a legion of brittard haters because he punched their idol into retirement
Lewis won clearly and fairly. It is disappointing that there wasn't a rematch, because Vitali was doing well up until the cuts stopped the fight. Lewis retired at an ok time. He had achieved a lot, and was still on top. He had made his money and still had most of his marbles. I do think that the prospect of facing Vitali again probably made the decision to retire easier for Lewis. It might have been one out of a lot of different factors - how much of a part if played, who knows? Lewis had rematched the two guys who beat him, so it is hard to say that he was the type to run away.
Not all of us have the privilege of a fiancé to indulge in at a given time. I smashed that fat single mum at the weekend, believe me that was another situation filled with regret
it took me a long time to answer this poll because i could not decide . . . and then it came to me the right answer was . . . without a doubt it could only be . . . Why in the **** are we still talking about this ****?
