Lewis names his toughest opponents

I think this is a very pertinent point.

 

Sure, Mike was still throwing dangerous punches. But Lewis was being overly cautious for the last three rounds (undoubtedly because of the first round knockouts he'd suffered in the past). Even Steward was all over him about ending it. A sustained attack by Lennox anywhere in those last three rounds would have spelled Mike's doom.

To me it looked like Mike was using those last three rounds to dispel the accusations of him lacking heart, he was already mostly useless and was damn lucky LL was being extra careful.
