dude he was training for a fight before that 2 weeks...just like klitscho was training for someone else....also he wasnt exactly fat....also lewis didnt take the rematch...so from a historic standpoint that does call into question his confidence.

Lewis was going to face kirk johnson who was injured. Lewis did not have a 2 week camp. Vitali was going to fight some nobody on the undercard and Johnson pulled out 2 weeks before the fight, so they saved the date by matching vitali vs lennox. That is where the 2 weeks comes from, noob

 

People always talk up lennox not having time prepared but can anyone even name the guy vitali was going to fight? it was some nobody. Of course vitali would have prepared differently if he knew he would be facing a top 10 ATG heavyweight vs whatever nameless guy it originally was, it goes both ways

Lewis was definitely heavy, looked slow and overall didn't look good at all. But he has a lion heart and survived Vitali's early onslaught and the momentum shifted to Lewis in the 4th. The 5th and 6th rounds belonged to Lennox and Vitali was clinging on and looked absolutely exhausted in the dying seconds of the 6th.

regardless: vitali was/is ALWAYS in shape. he was hungry as hell & motivated too at the time as he was desperate to prove everyone wrong about that quitschko ****.

lewis came to the ring fat & obviously out of shape...proved not by his preperation time but by his career high weight. he underestimated vitali & he had probably even underestimated johnson too. the only other 2 times lennox came to the ring that unprepared he got sparked.

the timing favoured vitali in almost every way. totally undeniable. but lennox won anyway. :deal

what a load of hortse****. the doc saved vitali's career with that stoppage. his face was ****ed up. "vitali's cut was under control"? he literally couldn't see out of the ****ing eye. he had to turn his head to look at the doc. only a ****** questions that stoppage.
