Actually I think 40 years from now, people who choose Wlad over Lewis. Been a reigning champion for many years in a row, beat every up in coming HW during that time. Fighting more for a longer period of time then than Lewis.

Wlad is a top 10 ATG heavy, Lewis is top 5. There's no fight out there that can propel wlad above Lewis though IMO.

It was a fluky win, he knows it and that's why he didn't even entertain the idea of a rematch.

He had nothing left, he was 38 by the time he retired.

He cemented his already ATG legacy by burning through Vitali.

What a nice guy for Vitali to do that.

    :rofl

    LEWIS TKO6 VITALI!!!

If that's the case, should they also consider him above ALI?

Tyson was shot, and he was losing to Vitali. There should've been a rematch but chose the go into retirement at the age of 37.

He had nothing left, no motivation, he knew his time was done.

He cemented his legacy by beating a prime Vitali at the end of his run.

What a way to go. :hi:

    TKO6!!! :yep

    Also, no.

That would be Henry Armstrong or Greb.

In what aspect can you rate Ali higher than Armstrong OR Greb?

    That was in 2003.

Wlad vs. Lewis could have made a lot of money considering they both "fought" each other in Ocean's Eleven.

If they are so far apart and the answer is clear to you then why did you make this thread?

Cemented his legacy by many people wondering after so many years why he didint give Vitali a rematch? I've Wlad retired at 37, people should say he ducked Pulev and Povetkin.

Lewis won that fight too, that was a preview of what COULD have happened.

Lewis knocking Wlad out in emphatic fashion.

The 2003 version of Lewis would have destroyed Wlad. :yep

    "People"

    You mean Klitt@rds?

Most boxing historians/boxing experts know that it was a legitimate win and that it boosted his resume a great deal.

Beating a 31-1 prime Vitali who went on to becoming a 2x HW champ, 45-2 record. He never lost again after losing to Lewis.

Lewis's resume just kept going up after he retired. And it's all because of Vitali.

    TKO6~! :hey
