It's comparable now, but eventually, the longevity, greater volume of wins, and greater range of opponent styles Wlad's fought will give him a clear edge in my book. Probably another 2 years or so.
Is that why 'Lets just retire' Lennox felt the need to phone Corrie Sanders and give him his coaches observations on the only hope to MAYBE get a win against Wlad?? "Yeah let me just call Corrie, a guy I'm not really friends with but sort of know, who is a southpaw and has freakishly fast hands, to put pressure on him and let his hands go. That's what Manny said... put pressure on him. Maybe he'll get through with something big so I don't have to worry with him. I wanna retire with my legacy intact." Lol I mean if Wlad was SUCH AN EASY early knockout for Lewis... why not get that easy 30-40 million?! Because Lewis knew deep down he could get knocked the f**k out :smoke Why such concern with calling Sanders the night before the fight?? I BET Lewis didn't call Sanders before any of his other fights! Wouldn't he want Wladimir ALL TO HIMSELF?? Lol Nah
I rank Lewis higher than Wlad. In the best case, I put Lewis at #3. And Wlad at #5-6 also in the best case. However, Wlad could turn things around if he wins a couple of fights against proven contenders. Getting the WBC belt would boost his ranking but politics are involved and its tough. Also, he has three belts just like Lewis had three belts. AND has been more dominant during more time. Ruddock, Golota, old Tyson and old Holyfield are very good wins. But Haye, Byrd, Povetkin and Pulev/Chagaev are pretty good too. Wlad didn't avenge all his loses. Lewis did. But Lewis was never undefeated for a decade. Wlad is.
Well it's nice to see a balanced post once in awhile, especially from someone who appears to be related to Wlad.
No, son. As usual, you're jerkin' off all over your keyboard. I got Lewis at 4 and Wlad at 10. There are only two in that top ten that might belong in a separate class, Ali and Louis The rest ? You could make a case for almost any order. The other point is Wlad is still a work in progress and could well finish somewhat higher than where he is now.
